We stay here every year because of the fantastic dog-friendly beach access, the amazing views, and the very chill vibe in the area. The house is not fancy, but it is very comfortable and we look forward to coming here every year to unwind.

It’s a great location! We came for my birthday! I love how it’s on the beach. It does need some work, well a good bit of work, but it fit our needs perfectly fine. The a/c works really well!! The sliding doors are super hard to use and the door handles were broken so you have to kind of make sure how you can. The fridge took a while to chill things but it caught up. We adored the flooring in the spare bathroom!! Water pressure was good in the bathrooms. I loved the box that was included with the laundry soap/kitchen soaps etc. It was a great stay and it was a super good deal! I would definitely stay again! I didn’t want to leave.

Safety concerns with deck, missing and broken spindles, exposed lighting wires outside, no outside lighting, gate won't latch. Lower deck rail wasn't even attached. The sliding door to living area is very hard to open and close. All vents have mold and haven't been cleaned in years. Window seals haven't been cleaned in years. Something smeared on wall over sink, missing wall decor and wall damage needing repairs. Sink stoppers missing in the master bathroom and toilet was stained and dirty. Master bed mattress had been flipped over to hide nasty staining. Pans are old and damaged. Only 3 coffee cups. If you allow pets, there should not be carpet through out the house. This house should not be rented in this condition. We loved the view, location and pet friendly aspect, so it has great potential.

Family vacation

The house was nice but dated and needed some repairs. The inside was spacious and large enough to accommodate everyone. It was clean. Some of the furnishings were very worn. There was no working light where the washer and drywr was. The outside lights for the deck didn't work so tou couldn'tsee ar all when walkingout the slidingglass doors. There was a rotting board in the cirner of the deck The furniture on the deck was broken.

Awesome Getaway

El Pescador was just as described: a terrific beach house with gorgeous views. The house is dated and could use a good old fashioned remodel but everything works properly and we had no issues at all. The proximity to the beach is what sold me on this particular rental. The large rooms, open floor plan and extra spacious breakfast bar were a bonus. My husband and I rented the entire 3 bedroom house for just the two of us but this is a perfect space for family gatherings.

Great house right on the beach

El Pescador is an older traditional beach house that is right across the street from miles of beach. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels much more open than some of the other beach communities in Fort Morgan. The house is a little worn, but very comfortable and roomy. Everything you need - we loved our stay!

The house is in a good location with a great view. It appeared clean at first glance but upon further inspection, there were issues. The air vent for the HVAC was located in the kitchen areas and covered in very thick dust. The sheets were sandy feeling before we used them, We were left with 1 trash bag for our 4 day stay and messaged to ask about more but they never arrived after we were told they would bring them by. The toilets were dirty and the paper towels and TP were the cheapest available. The dishwasher did not work properly. Both front and back stairs going down to the parking area were very dark and no lights were available at all. We were never given instructions on how to lock the main door after entering if we left again. We did ask but had to leave the house unlocked if we left at all. Unclean, unorganized and very disappointing in several ways. Would give it only one star except for the view and the allowing of pets.

Relaxing with uncrowded beaches

We stay here every year before Thanksgiving. The location is fantastic! The beach isn't too crowded and is dog friendly. It is a perfect place for a relaxing and fun family vacation!

Second Stay in this Comfortable Beach House

Location, location, location. Comfortable, well-stocked beach house w/ a million-dollar view. We like Ft Morgan Rd, at Gulf Shores, AL. This house is situated so well for beach view, beach access, and not crowded-out w/ other houses. We’re planning our third visit.

We loved it

Overall this house was great. We loved the space. It was clean and very comfortable. We never could get the tv remote to work, but maybe that was user error. We hope to come back again. It was everythjng we hoped for. Don't let any bad reviews keep you from staying here. Yes, it needs a couple of updates and a fresh coat of paint here and there, but that's not important to us. The beach and neighborhood were quiet. You can't beat the view. The master bed had a few dips, but my back didn't hurt. We had no problems sleeping. We will be back!

We loved this old house. Fantastic views from all rooms. Few neighbors. Comfortable. Well stocked. Generous w/ consumables. Our dog loved the deck, beach. No wi-fi problems. Nice, quiet Thanksgiving w/ family.

Great location, short walk to beach!

We had a very enjoyable stay. Close to the beach and fishing from shore and local area was good. Clarity of the water was amazing. We have stayed in Gulf Coast 8 times and this was the clearest water we have seen. House is a little dated but had everything we needed for a great time. We did find 4 large cockroaches which created a bit of stir but that can happen anywhere. The food in Gulf Shores was fantastic (must go to Tacky Jacks and LuLu's). New Dollar General was 1 mile a way and very convenient.

Sweet little beach house

We absolutely loved this place!!! It's private and the beach is right in front of you so you can enjoy it from the deck. The grandkids loved it and so did the dog!! Plenty of room for everyone!!
