I arrived late in the evening. I called the afterhours number and Tanya was as attentive as if it were daytime. I was directed to my room. On the way, I noted the finishes on the walls and crafted wood trim around the windows and at the ceiling. During the next day I returned and was able to explore and observe more and it was all beautiful. Each interaction with staff, whether at the desk or at breakfast was up-lifting. Would recommend this hotel over a branded hotel, when I have the chance.

Staff was extremely helpful. Bed was super cozy. The bathtub was a big plus. Wish the sounds from the hallway could be less (not sure how that could be addressed). Also wish there were a few more hot entries at breakfast - perhaps from a local restaurant?

Could not be happier with our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Jason helped to get us settled and was very helpful. We cannot say enough about this boutique hotel. Very reasonably priced and such wonderful rooms. Not your franchise hotel. This was so much better. This would be a wonderful place to celebrate a wedding. Nicely appointed and lots of rooms.

Room was sweltering heat all day and all night! Ou room #209 literally didn’t have a thermostat and it was hotter in that room than in the whole property and outdoors. Their main solution? The cheapest, dusty, used fan from Walmart. 02/10. 1/5. Will not recommend to anyone who needs modern amenities. Property is quite nice, visually, with little spots to read. But guest services was sparse and the atmosphere was stuffy.

Absolutely beautiful rooms and facility. The only thing was the breakfast to order isn’t coming till April or May. The house is wonderful and will be perfect when the restaurant is there. All the staff was always very friendly and accommodating! And the shower and soaking tub is spot on!

Beautiful place, love the history of it. The room could use some repairs, some of the walls in the room and bathroom have large cracks in multiple places, and are peeling. But the furniture and bathrooms are updated and the claw foot tub was beautiful and relaxing to soak in.
