Our stay at Ho'olaule'a at Hale Laule'a, Opihi Point, and the Hakalau Banyan Tree B&B Suite was such a joy! The trip kicked off with a fun tour of the gorgeous property, perfect for someone like me who loves soaking in nature. Chad and Jennifer, the owners, were so kind and down-to-earth, giving us great tips, like a quiet nearby hike that had jaw-dropping views we couldnât stop talking about. The breakfasts each morning were fresh, tasty, and full of local vibesâexactly what we needed to fuel our days. Walking the gardenia-lined path to our suite felt like a little escape every time. The gated estate, with its three sweet guard dogs (who warm up once you say hi), made us feel totally safe and at ease. After long days hiking the east side of the island, we loved chilling and watching the horses, ducks, and this massive turtle just doing their thing. Chadâs quick lesson on their banana trees was such a cool, unexpected moment that stuck with us. Weâre already dreaming of coming back for another stay!
