We loved the onsen hot bath outside, the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the food was good including the Japanese breakfast set and the udon we ate for dinner

Location is a challenge to get to without a car. Public transit within the coverage of the Hakone Freepass is more challenging. A shuttle would improve this but likely isn't feasible given the size of the facility. Otherwise everything else was good. Shared showers is a bit annoying.

Friendly staff, amazing onsen, and the Japanese-style room was beautiful. It’s a little far from everything, but if you’re willing to take the bus, the stop is right in front making it super convenient. Such a peaceful, relaxing stay. Would definitely come back.

We had a nice little stay. My kids enjoyed the pool table and the private onsen. We slept Japanese style on the floor with a family of 5. We didn’t have any issues. We enjoyed some adult beverages as well as ate dinner. Dinner is nothing special but it was perfect for us. The staff were amazingly friendly and even spoke English to us. We would for sure stay again! There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel. It about a 15 min bus ride to the Ropeway. It’s also 10 min drive from Yunessun where we stopped on our way home.
