We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, nothing was missing! We would make morning drives to historical sites (Jamestown, Yorktown, arc) and then walk to the beach for the afternoon relax time. Thank you for a great stay.
My family had a wonderful time. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. Nice quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. Short ride to places to eat. We will definitely return.
We went to Hampton for a birthday party and wanted to stay close to Buckroe Beach. We enjoyed staying at this little cottage. It had everything we needed. The A/C worked great!
We loved our stay - only a short 5 minute walk to the beach and playground. House was clean and welcoming, tvâs were great for movies and gaming. Only thing to note is there is not a bathtub if you need one for a toddler. Canât wait for another beach vacation here!
Super cute beach cottage! I took my grandkids and DIL for a few days to Buckroe Beach and this was the cutest cottage for 2 adults and 3 small children. The kids loved the large screen TV's in all rooms and the spacious sofa they could wallow on in the living room. If your kids like to walk entirely possible to walk to the beach, if not, a very short drive.
The location of this place was wonderful. Just a short walk to the beach and close to anything you could need.I did have to sweep upon arrival as there was dirt and hair on the floor, and the house had a little bit of a musty odor when walking in. Another heads up, there is no full length mirror anywhere in the rental! Other than that it was great.
Had a nice family beach weekend. On the smaller side but beds were comfortable and big kitchen with everything you may need. We liked that the living room and dining room were open to each other. The area was great. We enjoyed the beach, historic Phoebus and restaurants 5 min drive, and Fort Monroe.
Easy walk to the beach but we drove with all of our beach supplies and easy to find parking. Buckroe Beach was fabulous. Not crowded and water was beautiful and great for swimming.
Bring your own beach supplies, towels, chairs, and umbrellas!
A nice place near Buckroe Beach and central to Williamsburg and Virginia Beach
Stayed here for about a week. Nice property. It is walkable to Buckroe Beach. Cute little beach on Chesapeake Bay. Not too crowded. Waters were relatively calm (decent for smaller kids). Also very central to Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country, Virginia Beach, Hampton Colosseum, etc⊠(30-40 minutes or less). Neighborhood is quiet. House suited our needs. Fit a family of four comfortably.
Owner was very nice and quick to respond to questions. I would stay again.
My teenage grandson & I enjoyed this cottage in a shady neighborhood as base camp while enjoying local spring break adventures. The quaint exterior hid the modern interior, where we relaxed together on the living room sectional, enjoying 2 movie nights. Of course, everyone loves having their personal tv in their own room. We prepared dinner & snacks in the well-stocked kitchen. The only comment from the teen was the musty smell from being in the lower apartment. Everything was neat, clean, & attractive!
