Just book it! This place is incredible in every way! So clean! Feels brand new and the decor and finishes are so nice! If you want to wake up to the ocean waves and be able to step right out onto the beach, this is the place for you! Everything you need to cook at home if you don't want to drive to town. (Go to Walmart to get your groceries before you head North, food at local stores is expensive) This home does share a lot with another identical home, but those guests were not a problem for us. You will see other people though because of that if the other home is booked, so if you want total seclusion, this is not the place for you. It does take about 10 minutes of driving to get to Hanalei for any restaurants, etc... everything takes a while in Hawaii due to windy slow roads. As far as the beach goes, this is NOT a snorkeling beach. In fact, we couldn't get in the water at all. There are lots of big rocks and big waves since this home faces North. The water is rough in this area, so do not plan to get in the water at this home. Tons of nearby beaches though that are safer for water stuff. Not being able to get in the water was not an issue for us. You have to give up something to have views like this! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Manager was super responsive when we had an issue. The only thing that I did not like was that the hot tub chemicals were so strong that you could not actually get in and enjoy it.

Everything was perfect! Check-in was a breeze, easy internet access, and kitchen is absolutely beautiful and lovely to use. The house is gorgeous, welcoming and very thoughtfully designed. We were in heaven! This is our second time here and we hope to come back.

Haena Vacation

This property is amazing!! We found the home bigger and nicer than what it looks like from the pictures. It accommodates 6 adults easily with lots of space. It is right on the beach (not swimmable though) and the grassy/shady lawn is perfect spot. The best part is the lanai-it is large with a table for 6, 2 oversized comfy chairs and a hot tub. The view is amazing! Tunnels beach is just around the corner-a quick 15 minute walk with calmer water to swim and snorkel. Beach is not busy or crowded. Responses from host were quick (the only thing we needed was trash/recycling emptied) and we had no problems during our stay. It is a quiet, remote location that offers solitude. Even though the rental right next door is close, we never heard the visitors and still felt secluded. We hope to come back to this exact rental in the future!

Lovely beach house

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house right on the beach. The house has direct access to the beach and it’s a beautiful walk on the beach to the Napali Coast. The house had everything we needed and was very peaceful.

Happy Time Beach House

Great house by the beach. House, appliances, and furnishings are excellent. Ocean views while eating breakfast and dinner on the lanai. Fast Internet. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Spectacular!

We can’t say enough about our stay here. This Haena home has been meticulously and tastefully renovated with attention to every detail. The overall feel is embracing and welcoming. The kitchen is extremely well-outfitted, not to mention beautifully done. We enjoyed dinners on the front deck every night overlooking the ocean and beautifully manicured garden. The large front room is perfect for hanging out, reading, yoga or watching a movie. We all commented how lovely it was to come “home” after days on the beach or adventures - we all felt spoiled! This vacation was a splurge for us, and we felt it exceeded our expectations. We hope to come back!

Gorgeous Beachfront Home

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The location is perfect, right on the beach a short walk from the Tunnels reef. Everything about the newly remodeled property is high end, from the gourmet kitchen (Wolf, Sub-Zero, All-Clad, Cuisinart, etc) to the huge collection of luxurious Pendleton beach towels. We enjoyed the short beautiful drive to Hanelei for fresh Opah from the Dolphin fish market, which we barbecued on the lanai overlooking the turquoise waters of the North Shore, napping and reading in the hammock overlooking the beach, walking up to Tunnels for snorkeling with the sea turtles, Surf lessons at Hanelei bay, hiking in Haena State Park just up the road, fresh pineapple and citrus daiquiris from the Vitamix blender, delicious tapas at Baracuda, amazing ramen at Ama, and super-fresh Poke bowls from Hanalei Poke, and stand-up paddling and kayaking on the Hanalei River --all close by in Hanalei. We highly recommend this home for your North Shore Kauai vacation.

Amazing location but lacking otherwise

The house has been nicely remodeled but isn’t finished. Lots of stuff mentioned that isn’t actually included because of the remodel and a real lack of communication between the property management team and renters. When we expressed our concerns we were ignored or argued with. It really left a bad taste in our mouthes. We didn’t expect them to magically fix everything and would’ve been satisfied if they made us feel heard. First class location with low class service. Go in with lower expectations and you’ll be extremely happy!
