The room had an unpleasant smell on arrival with all doors and windows shut. The oven hob top didn’t work properly so food was burned, setting off the fire alarm and requiring some serious cleaning of a frypan. Kitchen cupboards all smelled musty and damp. Water temperature was set very high and caused scalding of hand. The whole camp looks a little neglected and tired but for a one night stopover the facilities were adequate.

I love staying at the Alpine Adventure Park. Always helpful friendly staff, rooms spotlessly clean, comfy bed and affordable on a budget. Love the parklike grounds and so close to the pools and town. It is the perfect spot if you are travelling with children, there is a lovely playground.
