The staff was very helpful. They even arranged breakfast for us to take with us when we took an early bus to our next destination, without us asking! The room was good and comfortable and the location was nice too. Even though it was right in the middle of old Hanoi, on the 7th floor you could barely hear the noise.

The property was well situated within easy walk of old quarter and train street. It is on a side street so not too noisy with traffic, heard no noise from neighbours. The building smelled musty and old, but was clean. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that.

We booked the Lotus Boutique Hotel for three nights initially at the start of our Vietnam family holiday. Travelling with a group of seven including a toddler of 21 months, two rooms here were ideal. The hotel organised an airport transfer for is at a very reasonable price. Jennie, the manager could not be more accommodating, organising a street food tour which I highly recommend. She also organised our train tickets together with a cruise on Halong Bay. We also had laundry done at a very reasonable price. As far as value for money is concerned, we received outstanding value for money. The breakfast was good, the wifi was very good.I highly recommend the Lotus Boutique Hotel and would definitely return here if staying in Hanoi again. The location is outstanding.

This little hidden gem was located in the heart of Old Quarter, it was in such a convenient location. Huong was wonderful, she coordinated our pick up from the airport with little notice, and helped us immensely with our trip to Halong Bay! The staff in general were extremely friendly and we were very happy with our stay. The rooms were great very spacious and we were upgraded both nights at no extra cost which was such a pleasant surprise.

We had 4 wonderful nights at this hotel. The staff was great and very helpful! They arranged 2 amazing trips for us( the trip to SaPa and halong bay) which were amazing. The location is perfect. The breakfast was good. I really recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean, well, maintained, and most importantly -- the air conditioning worked! The staff were the most gracious and friendly of any hotel we had in Vietnam. We were frequently greeted by name by the desk and restaurant staff, which was a very nice touch. The breakfast buffet was good. This was quite reasonably priced for what we got, and the location made it easy to get to anything.

This hotel is an oasis of tranquility in the busy city of Hanoi. The rooms are spotless, the beds are SO comfortable and the amenities are excellent. That being said, it is really the staff that puts this at the BEST hotel we have ever stayed at. Each staff member is very warm, professional & anticipate your every need. They make you feel very special. Anna is an incredible hostess who made our stay so memorable. We will definitely be returning to this hotel & recommending it to all our friends and family. Perfection!!

The hotel is perfectly located in the old quarter near the Hoan Kiem lake. It was perfect for strolling and exploring. What really made it stand out was the service level which was outstanding. The staff was personable, friendly and eager to do anything to make your stay helpful. Breakfast was excellent and varied. We traveled in a group of 7 and the folks that stayed in the executive suites had outstanding luxurious accomodations. Standard rooms were well furnished with comfortable beds and good showers but were tight and some without windows. Next time i would spend a bit more for an upgraded room. Our overall experience was outstanding and i would return in a heartbeat.

This is a really nice hotel, but it’s the staff that make it special! They anticipate your needs and serve you before you even know what you might need! You can’t go wrong staying here! The location is also really good! It’s very central and easy to get around. On the weekends there is a large square near the hotel that closes to traffic and is great to walk around in. And the night market is only 5 minutes walk away!

It's not like the pictures indicate. Much more run down than expected, I don't know if the condition is just dirtiness or from long term neglect. I am surprised by the rating online. Never got to eat the breakfast and some of the staff was nice, others were rude

I stayed here for 5 nights. Although conveniently located in the old quarter, the room was very dated and could do with a good spring clean. Breakfast not located on site and only average. Staff were very helpful though

Our family had a great stay at this wonderful Hanoi Lotus Boutique Hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive and learnt our names quickly. Breakfast was fantastic with the best beef pho of our trip. We loved this place.
