We loved our stay, and will be back. We had 4 (could have handled more easily but a late cancellation in our party), and loved the house. Pretty, central, updated. Can tell the owner has put a lot of labor of love into it.Harbor Springs is relaxing and pretty. Lots to do.
Great space, lots of room for everyone. High rise table in living room was great, however could use some stabilizing. Perhaps a small shovel to clear walk. Overall excellent experience. Cooked in, played games, did puzzle, everthing there we needed. Highly recommend. 2 families of four with teens
We had a wonderful time. Deja Blue was a great place for the 6 of us to stay. Thanks for your prompt responses to our needs. We will definitely stay again if we vacation in this area!
We rented as part of a work trip in town, the house worked out great. The management company was very easy to work with, as we had to reschedule and then extend our stay.
Overall, place is nice. It is large, and holds 7-9 people very well. Nice outdoor areas. Only a couple of downsides. Place is not decorated very wel (a little plain), and kitchen could be better outfitted. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
We were very happy with the size, comfort, and cleanliness of this updated Harbor Springs cottage. The kitchen and the the great room were well equipped and worked well for our group. The beds were comfortable and the decor more than adequate. The bathrooms were remodeled nicely, however the two showers other than the master could have greatly benefited from a wall mounted soap dish or a corner shelf. The only negative issue we had was due to the very un-Harbor Springs weather we had most of the week. It was hot and very humid, and we found that not many windows had screens so no chance at getting any cross ventilation. Also it looked like there was a new screen door for the front door as well as screens for the slider in the great room, sitting in the garage. Had those been installed it could have been a game changer. We did enjoy sitting on the front porch where we could get a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed this quirky blue house, especially the great kitchen appliances. If the weather had been the same in Harbor Springs as when we first vacationed there 30+ years ago, the lack of screens wouldn't have mattered, but since the house doesn't have air conditioning, I think they are a must especially in the bedrooms. We did appreciate all the fans !
The house was great for a family. There was an updated kitchen that had stainless steel appliances. There were three updated bathrooms. Lots of room for the family to sit around and there was a great front porch.there was no air conditionning but our weather ranged from the low 70 to mid 80 and we were always comfortable in the house.
