Holiday Ski Trip

Beautiful house. Perfect for our group of 6 adults. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials. Short 10 - 15 drive to the Highlands and Nubs Nob

Staff Retreat

Harbor Springs, Michigan is hard to beat in late September/early October. The property is so close to downtown, the lake, and so many recreational opportunities. It was clean, spacious, and fully equipped for our stay. We would highly recommend this cozy home and would certainly choose to stay here again.

Perfect fall getaway.

We loved the Modern Birchwood Cottage. The house was just as pictured, very quiet, and beautifully decorated. The artwork only enhanced the experience. Note that Verizon phone coverage was not available, inside or out, but WiFi worked well.

We’ve rented this home before. Great location, great accommodation for three couples. Highly recommend. One of our favorite activities is hiking through the trail from the Birchwood property to Pond Hill Farm for afternoon glass of wine at the winery.

Quick Getaway

We rented this house for two nights. It is about 15-20 minutes to Boyne Highlands or Nobs Nob. House is very clean and in a nice neighborhood. I would rent it again for a ski or golf weekend “Up North”

Clean, very well stocked with everything you could need
from firewood to kitchen utensils. Great supply of bath towels, puzzles, movies, etc. Perfect getaway house in a lovely, safe neighborhood! Would highly recommend!

Girls Getaway

This place is beautiful!! It is so spacious and has everything u need. The decor is gorgeous and the fireplace was so nice and we enjoyed sitting around in the evening having cocktails with my best friends. Location is perfect, not too far from town. Very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend. I’ll definitely stay again!! 💕

Summer Vacation

We had a lovely stay at the Modern Birchwood Cottage. Everything was just as pictured and just as described online. We enjoyed the setting in the woods; the home amenities; and the Harbor Springs location. We hope to return in the future.

Great winter weekend!

Check in was super easy, the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. Appliances and utensils were up-to-date and more than sufficient-there was a variety of stemware, bar ware , and even an instant thermometer for our evening meal prep. The welcome gift of wine and American Spoon jams was a thoughtful touch. The setting in the woods was lovely, 10 minutes to Boyne Highlands for skiing, 10 minutes to downtown Harbor Springs. We enjoyed using the maintained hiking/snowsuit trails on property, we were able to hike to Pond Hill Farm to enjoy the winery-it was a highlight of our weekend! It was nice to have a real fireplace to use with wood supplied for the fireplace. We look forward to coming back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor seating around the house. Highly recommend this rental.

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely week in Harbor Springs, and were grateful that the rental home was uneventfull - in a good way. We had no issues and no reason to contact anyone for help. The home is just as pictured, which made it relaxing to walk in and find all as it should be. We appreciated the instruction binder, which was helpful when it came to adjusting the thermostat and navigating TV remotes; and the Wifi internet worked well. We hope to return to the area, and would rent here again.

Great for Ski Trip!

This property was a great fit for our ski trip! It was located only 10 mins away from the Highlands @ Harbor Springs and was in a very nice, private neighborhood. Overall, it checked all the boxes related to cleanliness, relaxing atmosphere, & accuracy of listing. The attention to detail was very impressive & was highlighted by the resources provided by the owner. These included premium bathroom supplies, a bottle of wine upon check-in, firewood stocked in the garage, & many more! I would definitely recommend this property to friends & family!!

Winter Wonderland

Great family winter break. Arrived and had 7 inches of fresh snow that evening! Close to ski hills. Driveway was cleaned off early in the morning. Very clean, cozy beds, was able to cook with everything in the kitchen Best thing was I forgot my diamond earrings in the bathroom and the cleaning service returned them!! Will definitely stay here again.
