Really pleasant staff. Great proximity to town and to the fly fishing school. Wonderful. Home cooked breakfast. Itâs an historic property with period furnishings so donât expect modern. We enjoyed our stay. Parking, breakfast and WIFi included
This place is amazing. Beds were comfy, breakfast was excellent and the service was top notch. Such detail and wonderful staff. I would stay here again and again. This is such a fantastic place to stay
We chose Friendly City as a stopover driving from Boston to Atlanta and could not have been more delighted. The innkeeper was lovely, the room was very comfortable with everything you might need from hairdryer to iron and ironing board. Fresh chocolate chip cookies on arrival, great dining recommendations, and a lovely historic Inn to learn about. As we were leaving early in the morning and would not be able to stay for breakfast the Innkeeper offered to have breakfast to go for us, and it was delicious! The most amazing thing was that my daughter inadvertantly left a treasured stuffed animal. The Innkeeper offered to ship it to our destination which stopped the tears and made one girl very very happy. We highly recommend the Inn!
This Inn is definitely a step into history. The grounds are beautiful and from the moment you step into the foyer, you know you're someplace special. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the breakfast can't be beat, and the antiques throughout give the place a classic vibe. Can't recommend it enough!
This is our 3rd stay at Friendly City Inn. Becca is a great host. Her breakfast is always very good. She is so friendly and gracious. Kyle also made are stay very pleasant. He contacted us to say we could check in early.
I visit Harrisonburg every year and the Friendly City in is the only place Iâll stay.
