Two complaints: • Rooms are so paper think course to each other that you can basically hear others conversations from 10 ft away. Ntm that the doors to the rooms have no slam stopper on them that other guest make noise and often vibrations to other rooms. • The white sheets need to either be cleaned differently or replaced entirely. There were marks on them that were set in.

Capital Cozy

The hotel is very convenient. It's close to the train station, and local bars. There's an events stadium nearby. The hotel itself was very nice for the cost of stay. It seriously exceeded my expectations. I want the staff there to know that I appreciate the comfort they provided there.

Nice hotel

Would have been nice if the hotel offered early check in as we had to kill 8 hours in the heat before they allowed us to check in. The gym was an embarrassment - treadmill didn't work, random unmatching weights, the elliptical was broken. Training is very important to us and the main reason we booked this hotel (because they had a fitness center). Aside from that, staff was great, the continental breakfast was amazing, the room was clean and nice.

Front desk staff does not communicate clearly, we had multiple issues. Room is aged and in need of an update. There is no ventilation so in the summertime the room remained humid at all times (towels stayed damp) while the clunky/noisy AC ran nonstop. Tub wouldn’t drain during a showers. This hotel has seen better times, but its location to the heart of downtown is why we selected it for coming to the capitol groove festival.

We ended up not staying we were told they wanted a $100 deposit and 15 dollars for parking. We felt all they wanted was money. Should have been explained to us before checking in. Now i have to wait for my 100 deposit to go bsck to me o. My credit card. I had to work early in the morning so we couldnt stay for breakfast. At least they should have waived the parking for us. Staff was very rude and unconcerned. We were very disappointed.

I was really pleased with my stay and absolutely would stay again. The price was great and the hotel was very nice. Our room looked exactly as pictured and it was very clean. Complimentary waters were great given the heat and the drive, and the lobby refreshments were lovely too! Daily breakfast was very delicious with different choices and they switched up the hot breakfast which is always nice. Great coffee! Everyone on staff was friendly and kind from check-in to check-out. Parking was safe and easy and I could even see my car from our room which made me feel even safer. The hotel is very conveniently located and we easily explored the city by foot. It was great that it was so close to Bushnell Park for the festival we were attending! Housekeeping came daily with fresh bedding and towels and the provided toiletries were of good quality. The lobby was so beautiful! My only “complaint” would be the bed wasn’t very comfortable and I wish I had request a couple more pillows, and maybe that the drapes could have been longer to be more room darkening, but really we slept just fine and will absolutely be back! Thanks for a great stay!

For me the hotel was fine, the staff friendly, the room clean, the price reasonable but the big advantage was how close it was to the Mark Twain home and museum which I enjoy visiting.
