Affordable stay for solo traveler

Clean overall, and well equipped. Squeaky floor and stairs everywhere, bedroom door very tight to close and open and also very squeaky. For the price point its ok, but will be appreciated and feel ethical to fix those issues.

Great value

A well run hostel with all that you need for a comfortable stop over. Friendly and welcoming staff. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare your food. Fans are available for those warmer days and nights.

A fun hostel with lots of character! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the property had lots of charm. Bear in mind, it is a hostel, not a hotel; if you aren't used to staying in a hostel, this is not the place for you. Local breakfast places are incredible. We would stay here again.

The Purple Palace is a gem. Bring friends.

Great spot. Great cool hostel experience. Great service , super clean. An excellent base for exploring Algonquin park solo or with friends. The video is chill with a bit of rock n roll. Roland will treat you right. Great attention to detail in following the rules and setting up out side. Civilized beer and local tips abound. I will be back.

We enjoyed watching the sunset from the common room on the third floor. A good place for an overnight especially when cold and rain did not make camping attractive.

Very closed to Algonquin Park, but there is literally no sound blocking system in place . We can hear everything, from next door's family conversation to front desk's check in, to everybody walking to the bathroom at dawn, to people walking and running at the hall and upstairs. Bring ear plugs.

The atmosphere is awesome. This has the best vibes of any hostel I've ver been in. The staff and the guests were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come again.

I would have given a better review if I were provided with towels. There were no towels provided! Overall conditions of the Hotel is fairly good. I think with this price, the Hotel offers decent facilities.
