Dewdrop Cottage - a very special place to stay

Comfortable, convenient, close to city center, country cottage - with 2 cute mini ponies! 4 bedrooms make it a perfect base for an enjoyable Hawkes Bay stay for families, friends or colleagues.

Situated down a quiet, no-exit, tree lined road, nestled in a pretty garden and surrounded by orchards, paddocks and vineyards, yet only 5 minutes to Splash Planet, Sports Park, Farmers Market, and central Hastings.
(15 minutes to Napier)

Four bedrooms - all with nice views.
Two bathrooms: one has a spa bath shower and a bay window overlooking a private garden, the other has a shower and washing machine.

The open plan lounge - dining - kitchen has a lovely view over the garden and paddock to the apple orchard The kitchen is fully equipped and has a full sized fridge, dishwasher, eye level oven, ceramic top stove and a microwave.

After watching the sunrise while enjoying breakfast on the patio you can go for a walk or cycle, explore the numerous wineries and restaurants.

An air conditioner/ heat pump will ensure you are comfortable regardless of the weather. Guests are welcome to cool off in our pool on hot days.

Whether you are visiting Hawke's Bay for business or pleasure you will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed and looking forward to your next visit.

What a stunning location among the apple orchards and vineyards of Hawkes Bay. We enjoyed two weeks at the lovely Dew Drop Cottage, although with 4 bedrooms its more like a house than your typical cottage. The place is fabulously comfortable from the two recliner couches in the living room, to the luxurious beds, two bathrooms and a wonderful kitchen with every amenity you need to cook at home. There is a large BBQ on the deck, an outdoor dining table and a couple of loungers to enjoy the sunshine. We were supplied with milk, juice, cookies, a bottle of wine and plenty of apples from the orchard. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding carrots to Lightening, the pony, and the big racehorse. Wendy & John are very personable hosts and we enjoyed talking to them during our stay. This accommodation lacks for nothing and we highly recommend this lovely house in the countryside. It really is a slice of heaven here!! Thank you for hosting us and I hope we make it back one day. Susan & Blair

Our second time to Hastings staying at Dewdrop Cottage and its become our place to go. We love that there is space for friends to drop in and share a meal with us. It's clean, tidy and with nice rooms for privacy...and a lovely owner

Wonderful stay at Drewdrop Cottage

Drewdrop Cottage was the perfect location for our three- generation family holiday. Our three year old loved the “unicorn” - pony, the pool and the many toys. We all loved the peaceful view and the comfort and cleanliness at Drewdrop cottage, we would definitely recommend.

A large group of myself and friends stayed here, it was great and spacious! Had a swim in the pool when it was hot. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Short drive to Havelock North. We stayed here for the purpose of going to Nest Fest as well which was a short taxi ride away which was great.

Spacious beautiful country cottage

Wendy and John are wonderful hosts and Dewdrop Cottage is the perfect base for a holiday in Hawke’s Bay. We loved the views over the flowers to the paddocks, feeding the horses, the strong water pressure and the genuinely friendly hosts who live about 50 metres away in a separate house on the same property. The kitchen is well equipped and the linen is high quality. We are a family of 4 and stayed 10 nights and would definitely stay again!
