The property is beautiful, wonderful location, very family friendly and pet friendly. We had everything we needed inside the home to have a relaxing and enjoyable time. The only thing that wasn’t 5 stars was that some areas could have more attention paid during cleaning prior to check-in.

We loved it here!! Beautiful rental! Beautiful View! Scriptures and God winks all throughout the house was such a neat thing! While staying in this home we did so many things close by. We zip lined an hour away! My step-Father, husband, 6 year old son, and myself enjoyed that sooo much! We fished on the lake and caught some nice ones! We took our 6 year old son to ride his electric bike at a track up the road with beautiful Mountain Views. We did pottery in town! We went for a day in Helen and got yummy treats from a bakery and blown glass trinkets to bring home! It was fun for everyone! Great restaurants all around! We give it 5 stars!! The house was a perfect spot for all of our adventures and a cozy home to spend with your family!

The house was perfect! The location and accommodations were ideal. We cooked most meals. We are not used to charcoal grill, prefer gas grill. The house had more lake toys than expected. There were 6 adults and 3 children, ages 1, 2 and 3!! We had plenty of room.We definitely will be back! The place is a gem!

Fabulous Lake Cottage

The cottage was exactly as described. Great location. Clean. Well stocked. Everything you could need in the kitchen is provided. If you have a favorite pan or knife bring it along. Morning coffee on the screened porch. Afternoons on the lake or nearby golf courses. Evenings playing games, or pool, enjoying movies and the fire pit. The cottage layout was great for our group of 5 adults. Kids would definitely enjoy the basement. Remote work was a breeze. Wish we had time for the kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely be returning.

Great Lakeside Vacation Home

Fun at Lake Chatuge

We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and this would be at the top of the list. Our group consisted of 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 3 fifteen year old boys. We all enjoyed ourselves and I think the boys and the Daddy had the most fun. Kayaks and paddle boards were a big hit. We rented a pontoon for a day and pulled them on a giant tube. They loved it. When in the house they played lots of card games well into the night. The sleeping accomodations were great. Fun was had by all and we hope to come back again. Nana and Mom really enjoyed floating in the water and soaking up the sun. Papa and Dad also went fishing and took the boys too. We had a glorious sunny week after weeks of rain and cool. We welcomed summer on the lake.

JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!

We had everything we needed to enjoy a week long vacation on Lake Chatuge. The house was just perfect for our Teen boys to hangout, play pool, fish off the dock, kayak, paddle board, we did everything!! We even enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night. We used our boat club membership from Florida to get a boat and we had a boat. The dock was perfect for us to load and unload the boat. The grocery store is just a short distance away. The beds were super super comfortable!!! The host provides everything and anything that you could possibly wish for in a home while you are away from home!! Plenty of charging stations! Something, the kids always forget to bring. Just awesome can’t wait to go back!!

Had a great time at the house, perfect for our visit from CA with local family. The house had everything we needed, it was cozy, yet big enough for all of us. Mornings and evenings were wonderful on the balcony and the pool table was perfect for times we had rain. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving Week with Beautiful Mountains and Water Views!

Overall worked perfectly for our stay. Since it was off season we did not have the pleasure of enjoying the lake but we came for relaxation so it worked out well. We saw deer out by the water a few times during our stay. Located in a quiet area. Dollar General is literally in both directions and Ingles is right down the road. Easy trip into GA as well. Kitchen could use more lighting and upstairs guest bath only has a tub. Neither of those things would prevent me from staying here again. Great communication with owners. Our faves: Rib Country, Underground Coffee (Hayesville); (Young Harris) Mary's Southern Grill and Heavenly Bake Shop; (Hiawassee) Sundance Grill

Blissful Rest

Spent a little less than a week in this great house by lake Chatuge. They had kayaks and fishing gear and enough space for everyone. We had a great time at the Fair and an even better time just hanging out with each other. Thanks for giving us a home away from home to do that in!

So much fun again!!

We stayed last year and it was so fun and relaxing we came back!! Feels so much like home! Love the area, short drives to all the “touristy” places, yet wonderfully peaceful with our coffee on the porch watching the bunnies 😊. This house is permanently tagged on my favorites 😁.

Beautiful home and great view

The checkin process was smooth and the home was immaculate. The nicest touch was having a Christmas tree in the living room. Great views, spacious, THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS, great kitchen, lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed the towns nearby and hope to be back.
