This place is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. It’s like a hug from nature that you didn’t know you needed. We had everything we needed and already miss it! The host was amazing and very helpful. Loved it and would certainly go back!

We loved the tiny home , it was perfect for a quiet getaway!! Our host Jerry was so nice and friendly!! It was clean and everything was there for us to keep it clean . Just prepared this is a tiny house with a tiny bathroom. Location is great !! It’s quiet but also close to grocery store, eating places and wineries! We made many new memories here !!!

Loved the total privacy and the fishing pond . I loved that the firewood was split and easy to start. Nothing better on a starry night. Hiking was good. Our dog also loved it . I wish we could go back this weekend. the fresh ground coffee was fantastic. They have everything you need. The book selection was perfect and so were the reading lights . This was the little oasis getaway we needed. We will be back

Majestic view, no light pollution, friendly and welcoming host, easy to disconnect and relax, many conveniences provided to enhance the experience (propane grill, firestarters for campfire, coffee bar, etc). Very cozy, and we are already discussing going back.

Incredible cabin and overall experience! From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest
I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. Lounging in the hammock under the shade tree during the day with the light breeze was like heaven on earth. Truly a pastoral paradise. The mix of open rolling hills with the mountain view in the distance and forest all around you is perfection. It conjures a feeling of expansive freedom but also protective seclusion all at the same time. A perfect place for a solo retreat or for couples to get away from the noise of everyday life. And you can’t beat the check-in and out times! Jerry was probably the best host I have ever interacted with. Super accommodating and responsive. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The lil cabin in the woods

If this is your type of getaway then it can only be five stars or 10/10 . It’s quiet , serene , and one of the most beautiful places I’ve personally been . Jerry takes care of you and is never seen .. which isn’t bad because you want to meet him by the time you leave . Thank you Jerry ! It’s the perfect place for you and your boo to be there and experience real quality time it’s amazing . It sounds amazing ! It looks amazing ! And Jerry is has taken all attention to detail off your hands he’s got you covered . Read the survival manual and you literally can’t have a bad time . Wonderful experience. Already planning on when I’ll be going back .

Perfect getaway from Atlanta city living!

It was so relaxing staying in this perfect little place! Being out in nature was just perfect, and we had everything we needed! We did find the Heflin waterfall after a couple of hikes - we started at the Cahulga Creek Park and walked across the big hill (where a dam used to be?) and once you approach the forest, take a left and follow the white marks on the trees - keep following - it will have you take a left after about a mile or so and you'll eventually start going down a steep hill. When you get to the creek, take a right and follow that down a little ways and you'll eventually come up to a stunning waterfall! We also recommend going to see the oldest tree in Alabama - it's not too far and it's huge! Thank you, Jerry and family, for being such wonderful hosts! We'll be back!

The cabin

I was a beautiful cabin with walking trails that were marked so you couldn't get lost. I wish we could have stayed a week instead of the weekend. I would stay here again the next opportunity I can.

Peaceful Respite

I participated in a run on the nearby Pinhoti trail, which was very pretty. This property was a wonderful place to relax beforehand and restore afterward. There is a trail right next to the cabin that is very peaceful. Lying in the hammock and listening to the birds was lovely, as were the stars at night. The cabin is minimalist but truly has everything you could need, a lot of thought has clearly gone into the design and amenities. I was able to cook all meals on site, enjoyed the covered dining area outside, and slept surprisingly well as the bed and pillows were super comfy. I can't recommend this place enough and would love to return for a sweet, quiet getaway.

wonderful pet friendly retreat

Gorgeous glamping retreat that is perfect for recreational anglers and pup pals. We truly enjoyed the open spaces, the gorgeous pond, the star gazing, and the many comforts. It was wonderful to be able to pack light and leave refreshed. We will definitely be back.

Amazing weekend getaway

My husband and I went to the tiny house for a quick weekend getaway and we were blown away! The tiny house was so clean, and cozy! My husband enjoyed fishing at the pond, and I loved reading on the hammock. Jerry was awesome and communicated everything we needed! We are looking forward to going back!
