The parking garage had electric gate and you only had to use your room card to open. The hotel was in walking distance of the historic town square.
The hotel needs a place where travelers can park, to go inside and register.
This is our go to spot when visiting the area for the weekend. The hotel is clean, up-to-date, plenty of free parking and centrally located. They also have an included hot breakfast with coffee and a selection of juices. You cannot beat the service and convenience.
My stay was great and I would have gave it 5 stars but on the last night the fire alarm went off at 12am! I have a newborn and it frightened him badly. Some person was smoking in their room that it set off the alarm. Everyone was sleep interrupted having to rush out of their room outside to find out it was a false alarm. Ugh!
The television service was out our entire stay and when asked if there would be any compensation offered for the inconvenience we were told "no, because it was an outside service" or something to that effect...we believe having everything in working order..i.e. plumbing, electrical, TV, etc..is standard and the responsibility of the hotel and its management...I can' imagine there were too many guests happy about the outage...even offering a $20 credit would have helped...and communicated an acknowledgement of the problem...your front desk staff should have been empowered to do something or the management..if not on site but aware of the problem should have been proactive and instructed their staff to appease the patrons...not sure if will ever stay here again...
