The cabin was great for a family stay. The cabin had all the supplies and then more. We never stayed at a place that offered so many options and supplies. They had doggie treats and even poop bags in case youd forgotten yours.very accomadating.
We loved this charming little cabin. It was jusy perfect for our visit to Hendersonville As a birder I loved the beautiful backyard there were birds galore and we loved sitting by the firepit every evening. Beds were comfortable and our hosts supplied everything we could need. If life ever brings us back to Hendersonville we will stay here again.
To start we did not stay; we walked in the property itâs a very old house all the windows donât lock and are dirty full of spider webs. The bathrooms are very old and bathtub very stained the curtains are so old and discolor. The backyard did not have any furniture as it appeared on the pictures. The whole house has a musty smell, the back door didnât lock so we did not feel safe so while we brainstormed in what to do and find a hotel to stay for one night. My allergies kicked in so bad I was itchy and my face started getting very red to the point I needed to take a pill and move outdoors. The house doesnât represent the pictures and need a good cleaning and maintenance. Sorry it took so long to respond. We were three women and felt not safe and also very uncomfortable
Overall the place was great, with only a few minor issues, we had to fill the grill gas tank but did get reimbursed. Some drainage problems with one of the tubs and the stairs in the laundry room have no railing and if you're not paying attention you could step right off the floor to the stairs
We had all that we needed at the cabin. It was really close to downtown. Check-In was a breeze, except a little bit of a sticky lockbox. Plenty of cookware and the window units in each room kept the whole place cool enough for the summer temps. Two en-suite bathrooms were great so that we didnât have to share our with the kiddo. Neighborhood was quiet and great for walking our two little pups around. Would totally stay here again.
This cabin was immaculate and provided all the amenities we were looking for (namely, separate rooms for our children and us that are large enough to home a pack n play, a full kitchen, and a fireplace). We had no issues whatsoever with our stay and appreciate having had the ability to stay halfway between Greenville and Asheville.
I, my wife and 3 of our grandchildren as well as 2 small dogs came to spend the weekend and have some fun on Moonshine Mountain. Fun is what we did have. Check in was a breeze and just as the host said it would be. The place was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Host was quick to respond to messages. Beds were extremely comfortable and had no problem falling to sleep. The drive to find about anything you need is within 5-10 miles. Was a great little get a way.
This property is great for a no frills let your hair down getaway. The beds were so comfortable and the owner was very thoughtful and kind. I enjoyed the large kitchen to cook in but will say it could use more items in it. Other than that I would be happy to choose this place again and plan on it.
Our son had been asking to go pick apples for a year. Found the perfectly located home for us to stay in. Check in was easy, the house is beautiful. It has a cabin feel without being an actual cabin in the woods. The neighborhood is as quiet and easy to access. It was close enough to town for us to get anything we needed but felt very much out in the country. House was very clean and tidy, beds were super comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen had everything you needed. Our 4 year old begged to stay forever here!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks to enjoy the cooler weather in the mountains. We were really comfortable and had everything we needed. We took a lot of walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed walking around Osceola Lake.
Very nice cabin. Walkway is a bit treacherous and definitely not handicapped accessible, but manageable. Very cute and clean inside. Beds are very comfortable. Could use a couple more comfortable chairs in the living room. Overall very nice. Had a great stay!
Cottage was most enjoyable, close to town, and would recommend staying here. However, emphasis should be specified that the incline and rocky entrances are not easy for anyone with balance or walking disabilities.
Coming âhomeâ to the log cabin was a perfect way to end a cold day of fly fishing. It was cozy and warmed up well with the wood burning stove. The owner was immediately attentive to our needs. A great place to stay for a fly fishing weekend in the Pisgah, Brevard and Mills River and close to Hendersonville for a night out.
Great house, close to all action. I might suggest that it be more clearly labeled and visible to find. Was difficult to find in the dark. Otherwise great!
Inside the cabin very nice. Outside dangerous to get in and out. Unsteady rock path with no handrails for safety. One couch but no chairs except for kitchen table chairs. The two bedrooms with bathrooms connected were great but hide a bed in the couch would only be suitable for a child. All in all a nice place. Just not for seniors or anyone with a disability.
Property is near a large lake for walking, downtown for dining and entertainment and near Blue Ridge Parkway and DuPont forest for waterfalls and hiking
