Great for Family Memories

Thanks so much to our great host for providing such a wonderful place for our family vacation. The house was very clean and there were lots of water amenities and a plethora of things for the kids and adults to do. We will definitely come back to make more great family memories.

Fantastic family getaway

The property is hands down one of the best properties I have stayed in. It is perfect for families, very clean, so much space and a ton of fun things to do in the lake! The owner was fantastic- great communication and a very easy check in/check out process.

Great spot on the cove!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, but the highlight was the game room and the water toys. The Party Pad and foam mat were so much fun, and the kayaks and paddle boards definitely added to the enjoyment!

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Beautiful house, beautiful setting. Comfortably provided room for 12 will all the comforts of home. Hours of fun for all on the paddle boards, paddle boats and kayaks in a wonderfully secluded cove just minutes off the main lake. Definitely a place to stay.

Great Family Getaway

This house has a quirky layout, but it worked nicely for us. And this is the best outfitted house that I have ever rented. It has everything for both indoor and outdoor activities. We will be back!

Family Wedding on Lake Gaston

We were in town for a family wedding and found this great property nearby the wedding site. Perfect location, everything you could possibly need and owners were outstanding throughout the entire process. House is very spacious and they have thought of everything to make your stay a great experience. Highly recommend this property

Beautiful property and house. Everything was clean and overall maintained extremely well. Plenty of things to do on rainy days as well as paddle boards, kayaks etc. Great property for huge families with kids too. Very convenient to shopping, We had an amazing week!

Our family of 3 generations enjoyed a week at this great lake house. The home has a unique layout, and a casual lake feel that fit our family group well, with bedrooms and extra sleeping spaces spread out across 3 levels. Plenty of space indoors and out for a large group gathering. Highlights of the home - the many dock amenities for endless fun in the water, the garage game room with many activities, and the pleasant screened porch. The kitchen is well supplied and the house very clean.

Excellent Getaway

We had a great time! The house was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The lake was a lot of fun and being able to rent the Pontoon Boat was a big plus. Chris was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We hope to rent this property again very soon.

Amazing House with everything you could need!

House has very high end accommodations and tons of amenities. All spaces are very comfortable and beds are amazing. Plenty of space to park vehicles. Waking is not issue with dock at end of cove.

Lots of little touches

We loved our stay. And appreciated the little things that made everything easier and more enjoyable - linens were provided and beds were made, kitchen was well-stocked, lots of tvs that were easy to use, many life jackets in a variety of sizes, firewood and pellets for the smoker available, super simple check out, so many games and puzzles. Chris was so friendly and very responsive.

Family Reunion

This was a great house for us (4 adults and 3 kids). The layout is a bit quirky, but it has EVERYTHING that you could want - great kitchen, multiple TVs, a game room, a dock with boats (and potential boat rentals), comfortable beds, and an attentive owner. We will be back.

Family lake house trip

The stay was great. The bedrooms and bathrooms were set up perfectly for 4 separate families to stay in! The screened in porch was great to contain the little rascals running around. The game was was a great addition and the option to rent jet skis and a pontoon boat was on point. Chris, the owner, answers all our needs very promptly ! No compliants :)

great house on the water

The layout of the house was quirky but worked well for our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. Very comfortable and welcoming. Super clean. Linens provided. Nice set up for watching march madness basketball on big screen tv. Kitchen very well equipped. Nice to be able to rent pontoon boat directly from owner and avoid the marina. Owner very responsive and welcoming. Wonderful spring break getaway!

An amazing place!

This was the best vacation property we've ever rented. The home was very clean, spacious and exceptionally well equipped with everything from kids toys/games/books to basic toiletries and laundry and kitchen essentials. Beautiful location on a quiet cove with calm water. Very shallow at the edge, perfect for kids (suggest bringing water shoes). We enjoyed using the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and pedal boats. We also loved renting the boat and taking the kids tubing. The owner Chris was very attentive and responded right away to all messages. We're hoping to return another year!

Comfortable and easy

We have a group of 3 families, 13 people aged 8-50, who spend every memorial day weekend at lake gaston. This house has been one of our absolute favorites. It is extremely clean, very homey and comfortable, and has everything we needed. Plenty of fun activies for kids, teens, and adults and places to relax as well. Having the boat and seadoos right there and available to rent was a huge bonus and made the weekend that much more fun plus it was much easier then driving over to a rental company. Chris was fantastic to work with as well, he explained everything clearly and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Already looking forward to our trip next year.

Great family vacation

My kids said they wish they could’ve stayed another week. The house was very clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was stocked well to cook family meals, the extra fridge in the garage came in handy. Grill worked great. The boat dock was a highlight. My family laid out, played in the water, and fished everyday. We loved the paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards. We also enjoyed the seadoos and boat. Everyone loved tubing on the boat. This was a wonderful family trip. Chris was very responsive and answered all of our questions. Very easy to work with.

Excellent house, excellent host!

This property offered something for everyone. Our group was age 17- 54 and there was never a down moment. Super clean house, plenty of sleeping spaces and entertainment space. Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. Plenty of tables for gathering. There is a huge game room, large dining room, large living room and indoor and outdoor porch space. The screened in porch is amazing. The water toys are in great condition and the dock area is spacious for relaxing and playing. Perfect cove for swimming, using the paddle boards and kayaks. Chris was super responsive to every question we had before and after the reservation and during our stay. Great host-definitely recommend reserving with out hesitation or worry. Thank you for a wonderful week at the lake!

Incredibly relaxing

My family had a great time at this lake house! Definitely the best rental we’ve tried so far. Everything was provided- from toilet paper to bed sheets. All we needed to purchase was food from the grocery store 5 minutes away. Lots of options of where to sleep and all were comfortable. Most of our time was spent in the lake or on the dock. They have kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, splash pad, floats, life jackets and even some water shoes (the bottom of the lake is quite squishy). When inside, we spent a lot of time on the swings in the screened in porch. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the gadgets/utensils we needed. The only thing I can think of that could have been helpful would be dressers to store your clothes. I think the only room that had a dresser was the master bedroom. A couple rooms had closets but I like to be able to unpack my suitcase when I go somewhere and not all my clothes can be hung easily. No biggie though. All together we had a wonderfully relaxing trip and would definitely recommend staying here!
