We truly enjoyed our stay. This home had one of the most beautiful mountain views. The whole house was very clean and well stocked. Pete was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Conveniently located close to town so grocery shopping or dinner was less than ten minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Views

Exactly the relaxing vacation I was looking for! Mountain views did not disappoint and house was well stocked with everything we needed. Centrally located for us as we were able to visit multiple hiking trails like Jack Rabbit & Anna Ruby Falls. We were also able to check several cities close by like Helen and Blue Ridge to name a few. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Breathtaking Stay

The cabin is located in a great centralized location and has a breathtaking/picture perfect view! We enjoyed the hot tub with the morning and evening Mountain View’s. The cabin was very well set up and all amenities were as described and functioned. Definitely a place that we will be revisiting!

Perfect Mountain Home

We had a wonderful weekend stay in October. Instructions for everything needed during our stay were easy! Kitchen and home was well appointed and we had plenty of space for 5 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Only points to note are that the queen bed and futon bed in the loft is not enclosed so come prepared with a sleep mask if sensitive to light. Also, this is a pet friendly home and it was evident that a cat has been in the home. Only someone with allergies might notice this and it did not take away from our good experience.

Spectacular

Thank you so much . we enjoyed everything about the house and the town of Hiawasse. It was a perfect weekend, temps in the mid 80’s, low at night 66. We spent the day at the Georgia Mountain Fair. Parade, rides, animals, lake, vendors that had some beautiful art. We were close to everything, and the views from the house were fantastic. Storms rolled through late afternoon and filled the Bally’s with fog. Beautiful Thank you again we will be back soon.

Beautiful & relaxing property

Our family recently stayed at this house & this was one of the best places we have ever booked. The house & views are stunning - even our teenagers enjoyed breakfast outside every morning! Relax & enjoy the quiet & peaceful views! The location is great; literally a couple of minutes to downtown. The host was excellent; great communication & quick to respond. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin with incredible views

Stayed for a week for family vacation in Hiawasse to rent boats, hike, whitewater raft, etc. The property is beautiful and the views of Lake Chatuge cannot be understated. The best part about this cabin is having a coffee on the deck in the morning overlooking the lake and mountains. We saw several deer and even a bear in the street. Right around the corner is Bell mountain with really amazing views from a high vantage point. The drive is incredibly steep though, so come prepared. I would highly recommend staying at this property. Just be aware that the stores and restaurants in Hiawasse and the surrounding areas almost all close around 5pm, so not many later dinner options other than pizza, fast food, etc, but there is an excellent Mexican restaurant “El Cancun” that’s open until 9-10pm we ended up eating at several times.

Georgia Mountain Trip

The property was exactly as described. The views are beautiful. The proximity to the lake, Helen and downtown was perfect. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub looking out to the mountains. Kitchen supplies more than adequate to cook most our meals in. Only suggestion would be to replace the main level bed. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Pete.

Amazing Views, Relaxing Stay, Great Communication.

The views were amazing, the game room and hot tub were perfect, we had to force the kids to leave to go fishing and hiking. Convenient location as well, we were able to go to the grocery store and get a few things very painlessly. And great communication throughout my stay, all the little questions I had were answered promptly. Would highly recommend!

Last Minute Vaca

My husband and I enjoyed our time in this beautiful cabin! I was a bit worried when I saw neighbors in some of the pictures, but it was completely quiet and serene while we stayed. The views were absolutely amazing. We visited in February, so all the leaves were gone so panoramic views brought the peace and calm we were looking for on our getaway. The detached game room was such a bonus! Very cool. Our dog loved to play in the yard and explore the hiking trail at the end of the drive. The host was excellent and was quick to reply when I had a question. A wonderful place. I would book again.

Go for the views, stay for the comfort!

The photos don’t compare to the views in person. One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. Pete was so great to communicate with. He recommended where to eat and things to so. The top of Bell Mountain at sunset is a must. The property was clean and comfortable, and well stocked. The hot tub was situated perfect to enjoy the view. We would definitely stay again.

Unbeatable View + Perfect Location

The view from the front deck of this place is so good we did not want to go anywhere else during our 6 night stay. The house is very nice as well with great daylight coming in from the south facing main living area. We stayed in late October and the fall colors were peaking perfectly. Its located at the end of a cul de sac and is very private and quiet. Access to town for groceries is only 5 minutes. The owner was easy to communicate and we will definitely look to return in years to come. We brought our mountain bikes and recommend the Jack Rabbit trail system that is only 15 minutes from the house.

Bell Mountain Retreat

First off, the location can’t be beat. It’s situated on Bell Mountain and overlooks Lake Chatuge and surrounding mountains. The pictures don’t do the view justice and they are great! The house has a large wrap around deck and detached game room. The beds could have been better, but everything else was top notch. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

Great place to stay with mountain and lake views. Close to downtown Hiawassee with multiple marinas to rent boats (highly recommend The Ridges Resort if you’re looking for dog friendly). We’ll be coming back!
