The stay was ok, not great but ok. I must admit it was a tiny house and my expectation should have been lowered by that fact. Hico is a rustic area of Texas. One issue with the property was that we arrived in the dark. I didn't have a clear understanding of where the house was and the property was dimly lit. We were required to park approximately 40-50 yards from the house. Unpacking in the night was cumbersome. Also where we were to park was a sign stating watch out for snakes, which would difficult to do in the dim light. Ok, it is December and the snakes aren't usually out but a little unnerving none the less. On the bright side, the owner was very responsive to our needs and concerns.
Had a great stay at this place. Communication with the agent was great. The place is very quiet and a quick drive to many areas of interest. The house was very comfortable and clean. Will consider staying here again.
