Really nice place for my brothers and I to stay. Great outdoor grilling setup. Fire pit was especially nice at night w/ wood already provided. Close to rafting & hiking. Night sky was amazing our first night. Host was extremely responsive. Would stay again.
Great space for a relaxing family vacation. Fun white water rafting and atv riding very close by. House was amazingly equipped with everything you need, including laundry pods, coffee, garbage bags, toiletries and lots of cozy blankets for movie watching. Thanks for a great stay.
This place is cozy, has all the amenities, and feels safe and private. We had an excellent stay here, coming into town for New River Gorge. The house is stocked with plenty of everything you can think of and even had bowls and beds for the dogs. The patio is lovely either for grilling or drinking coffee in the mornings. You know youâre in a great rental when you look forward to going back to your lodging for the evening.
We stayed at this propwrty while visiting New River Gorge and some surrounding parks. It was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was super cozy and had tons of amenities.. that back yard space is fantastic! Close proximity to the park , but just enough distance to feel like its own little world!
Location was great and it had everything we needed. The property owner was checking in to make sure all was good and helped out quickly when needed. Secluded but still close to the gorge action. Great for pets, but the distant neighbors do not leash or fence their dogs if you are planning walks. We had no issues, all were friendly but I known it makes some folks nervous.
We had a wonderful stay here for our annual National Park trip. First time in WV and loved it! House was close to National Park, rafting, and activities. Loved the outside deck, pool table and hot tub.
Overall it was a nice stay. The second day we went out in the car for most of the day so we didn't spend any time at the cabin. But when we got back I indulged in the hot tub which was very nice and we did a cookout on the grill and had the table campfire going so everything worked fine. We tried to cram as much into the two days that we were there so it was kind of a whirlwind of a trip for us. I was hoping for am indoor fireplace but the cabin had none and we are more of a incandescent lights legacy type of architecture people. We thought that the lighting in the cabin was a bit stark so that we had to turn all the lights off and just have the TV going. The TVs were a challenge. For us in our 70s we're looking for more simple stupid then high end types of remotes and TVs and wireless and Chromecast all those things we couldn't really get anything to work I didn't even try to log on to the wi-fi. There just wasn't enough time for us to sit back and relax and read up on the directions that you left there for all of the different things. We did get the TV in the family room working okay but the one in the bedroom worked but the video was zoomed in and I left a message for the host to have him call me to see whether we could get that fixed and the host never called me
