Great location cooked 2 meals a day and the kitchen was set up real well as was the BBQ! Rooms were great for sleeping in and the games areas was good.

Wonderful stay Hilltop Hideaway!! My family had great time and was comfortable, roomy, my grandchild enjoyed The backyard to run around , and loved the firepit for smores , the best of all was everyday grandkids saw 5 deers come every morning they named them. Watched them from the nice large deck when it was nice and warm. Lots of windows looking to backyard. Private large yard ! We will book again wonderful !!!

Gull Lake Family Vacation

The home was lovely, spacious & very clean. Had everything we needed to prepare meals. The BBQ is hard to adjust to cook on lower heat and the grills are rusted. Lots of entertainment with foosball, video games and outdoor fun in the massive beautiful yard. We enjoyed winding down our evenings with a fire and sā€™mores. We enjoyed the beach (although wish it was closer and better maintained). Also it would be nice if the house had A/C. Especially for sleeping as the house heated up during the day. Our only wish was the beach was closer and better maintained. We did enjoy the Par 3 golf course. All in all 8/10 for this property.

Clean but some maintenance issues - missing ceiling tile, one video game didnā€™t work, broken toilet. Not as close to the lake, store and park as we thought. No firewood.

Fun family ice fishing weekend!

I booked the house for a family ice fishing weekend. We had 6 adults and 3 kids and plenty of space for everyone. The house was clean, kitchen well stocked. Lots of games for the kids to play. I asked a handful of questions before arrival and all were answered quickly. The lake was a 2 min drive away. This would be a great spot in the summer as well!!

Great for families!

A wonderful home with comfortable beds for all. The kitchen was well equipped and the games/entertainment room downstairs gave our grandchildren a place of their own to enjoy while the oldies had quiet visiting time upstairs. We enjoyed the yard and fire pit and we visited by deer walking through the property. We will return to this lovely space.

Exceeded Expectations

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this amazing property, which offered far more than the beautiful photographs can show. From the moment we opened the door, the WOW factor grew with every space we discovered. The upper level gets sunlight all day long, streaming in through the windows, but still getting great airflow. Washrooms are stocked with a wonderful selection of amenities, covering all the basic necessities plus a few unexpected considerations. All the beds are incredibly soft and you sink right into them. The property is stocked with an abundant supply of surprising items for use, from a selection of children's toys and a booster seat, to bicycles of varying sizes and water inflatables. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need, with the exception of steak knives, though it should be noted some of the utensils at the time of our stay may be due for replacement. The lower level offers a large family room perfect for rainy games days inside, or evening movie nights. The basement walkout leads to an AMAZING fire pit oasis, where the raised fire and stone bed will keep your feet warm on those cooler evenings. Our one concern of note would be the steep staircase, which was a little daunting for the smaller members of our group. Fortunately, there was a baby gate at the ready to ensure we could secure the situation. We would 100% return to the Hilltop Hideaway, and in fact, are already thinking about our next vacation!

Birthday weekend with family

Booked this house as we were looking for my birthday present that was pet and child friendly and wanted somewhere that wouldnā€™t be too far from Calgary but to an area we havenā€™t been before and wanted a lake too. Found this place and it was available with 5 star reviews and right away I could tell why. The house is stunning, big enough for the whole family. Huge back garden for the dog and child to play and although the lake wasnā€™t walkable we still only have a short drive to get to it. Everything in the house was stocked and had everything we needed. Only thing missing was a space heater for the basement as it got pretty cold down there. But who would have thought we needed a space heater in June!! šŸ™„ not the houses fault.šŸ˜Š We moved the baby upstairs with the grandparents so he would stay warm all night. We got to enjoy a movie in the basement with lots of fun arcade games and fresh popcorn right from the maker! Such a lovely touch. As we were bringing an infant we were not sure if the house would have all the amenities needed but it did!! Had a child seat, loads of toys and even child cutlery and plates! So impressive. We brought all those things with us but we didnā€™t need to. Our Shepherd dog thoroughly enjoyed the garden and spent so much time, sniffing the trees and lazing on the grass. The only tidbit was that we found the beds to be too soft but thatā€™s only a personal preference. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we all had such a wonderful time. Rebecca V.

Fall Family Wedding Weekend

Enjoyed the house as we attended a family wedding at Pine and Pond. House was very cozy and extremely clean. Beds were comfy too! Fun to have the extra room for games in the basement that walked out to the huge and beautiful back yard. Loved seeing a deer and her baby wandering through in the morning šŸ˜Š. Great space to spend the weekend with the kids and grandkids. Wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay here again!

Sisters birthday getaway

In one word, all I say is WOW!! Perfect place to spend some time out of the city. The neighborhood was beautiful, one minute drive to a beautiful par three golf coarse. The home as every thing you will need. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, big deck and a yard that is perfectly manicured. Would 100% recommend this home for a weekend or month holiday.

Girls weekend trip

Hilltop hideaway was a great location for our girls weekend! Lots of space for 5 adults (could accommodate several more), any inquiries were answered quickly, and the beach & convenience store was within short distance to access. Would recommend going by the golf course, Eamon (owner) was a gem and the course was a fun activity you can get through in a couple hours. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys chilling by a fire pit at night, drinking a morning coffee on the deck surrounded by trees, and keeping things light with arcade and board games. Thanks for a great stay!
