Parking was easy and staff was amazing. They have great wifi and ac. I also loved the different themes in each of the rooms. I would have stayed longer if i could!
Parking was easy and easy out. Lock your doors and your secure. Air conditioner keeps the chill at the right temperature. And the rooms were impeccable clean. I added a plate and grindable salt and pepper to the amenities
This hotel was perfect. Great room and great amenities. I loved the huge TV. I was able to catch the end of Stranger Things đ. As a solo traveler this place was perfect. Free parking too.
Fully equiped kitchen, clean & good sized. Hamoock on the balcony was great to enjoy the sounds of the frogs & waves crashing in the distance. Great spot for my needs. Easy acess to the National Park without dealing with city traffic.
We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks, and stayed at several hotels, and the Plumeria Hilo Hotel had the best room by far because ut was more like an apartment than just a hotel room. There was a fridge, micorwave, hot plate, dishes, etc. A bit a road noise, but the beach was close by.
It was a very clean unit. Comfy bed, and a good kitchen setup. Close to Hilo and the beach park. Very reasonable price to pay for what you get. The road noise was a smidge loud, but fixed that a bit by shoving a towel under the main door. Overall I would recommend.
I would stay again. Itâs on a busy road, but itâs quite by 7pm. Full kitchen setup in the cabinets with coffee maker. Close to several shoreline paros with great snorkeling lagoons. My only complaint would be the sheets were a bit uncomfortable. Like using and old towel to sleep under. There are frogs in the area and are very loud at night.
A little loud with the main road right there, but twomamazing lagoons are like 3 minutes walking. We based out here for Volcano National Park, and stayed only one night. Dated building, but everything is clean and provided for. Thanks, y'all!
I stayed at the Plumeria Inn for 4 nights. The unit is like a studio apartment. It is well outfitted with just about everything you need. I cooked all of my meals here. It was very clean and the interior is almost completely new. I was on my own this trip and felt very safe. My unit had a balcony with a hammock which was wonderful. The air conditioning unit worked great and was silent - so great. The proximity to the water and beautiful side road to walk and run on is great. It was an incredible value and I would absolutely stay here again. Ear plugs were helpful for sleep as there is some noise from the road - not a deal breaker at all. The manager is very responsive.
Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard.
Hotel manager was easily accessible by phone to answer questions and deal with a complicated booking situation. Got it resolved quickly and extremely favorably.
Parking was free and very close to the building. 12 spaces advertised but the last two were in the exit driveway. No one wanted to back out of the driveway onto the street (no turn around) or get hit so didn't park in those spaces.
Some small things that would make it even better:
I actually baked a pizza in the toaster oven. Hot mitts would have been nice.
A small trash can under the kitchen sink would be nice. Beats walking into the bathroom or living room after wiping up spills.
Couldn't tell if the remote control for room comfort did anything. The settings changed on the remote but not on the unit inside the room.
I would definitely stay there again.
