This trip marked our 7th trip to HHI as an extended family of 15, and this home is my favorite by far. It was perfect - everyone was comfortable, had space to spread out, and seek quiet when needed. 7 teenagers were very comfortable sharing 2 bunkrooms. We put 4 boys in one and 3 girls in the other, and 4 sets of adults each had their own bedroom. All bedrooms are well-sized with large closets, very comfortable bed & linens, outdoor access, and en suite bath. Kitchen is large and well-equipped - we cooked with ease for our large group and dining space was more than adequate. Multiple covered porches/balconys are awesome and and gave cozy smaller space when needed. Teens put pool & pingpong to good use. The proximity to the beach is incredible - short walk through beautiful dunes directly across the street. I wondered if the neighborhood or beach would be crowded due to proximity to Caligny, but both were quiet and the short easy bike ride to shopping and restaurants was great for teens. Small thing but the home has beach towels which is SO NICE to not have to deal with bringing our own. Property managers were highly informative and immediately responsive. It was a heat-dome week (95) and air conditioning worked great. We had zero issues. My favorite - the homeowner communicated with us directly prior to and after arrival. She was wonderful and made us feel right at home. Thank you Abby, we'll be back!

We enjoyed a week at 7 Bayberry! Check in was easy with good communication from Rena and Juliette. Upon arrival we were lucky to have someone stop by to check the house. He was very helpful with carrying our luggage and supples upstairs as the elevator is very slow and we were worried about using it, The home is spacious and beautiful! The entire group loved the pool and how easy it was to get to the beach using a nearby path which is shady. The hosts provided a wagon, beach chairs, toys and towels. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, double oven and 2 dishwashers which came in handy as we cooked most meals at the home. Plenty of room at the table and bar area for the entire group. The bedrooms each had private bathrooms and the beds are very comfortable. We made so many wonderful memories in this beautiful home. Also, thank you to our host for checking in on us during our stay.

Beautiful, clean home in great location!

We had a fabulous time at 7 Bayberry! The location was just perfect and away from some of the busier places on the island, but still convenient to it all. The home was super clean and comfortable on the inside. We loved the scenic, shady beach path to the beach and even ran into a large deer with beautiful, fuzzy antlers! The pool and hot tub were a welcomed amenity, too! The home had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well-equipped. We had a fantastic, relaxing time and the property managers and homeowner communicated well at all times. We are regulars to HHI and this was one of our better trips with great accommodations for our family!

Nice stay in a very nice location

We really liked this home. It was in a quiet section of town and very accessible to the beach, shopping, golf and pickle ball. Loved the pool and hot tub. Both served as a great location for our family to convene and for many laughs. The house is big and there is plenty of room to stretch out and play games, and talk. Beds were comfortable. The house was not as clean as I expected. Stains on the quilts in several of the rooms. No problem, we washed the ones we used. The floors were also dirty. The kitchen was nicely appointed (just add in some oven mitts please; there were none, so we used dish cloths to get things in and out of the oven). The couch in the main family room on the third floor is quite old and does not fit the "luxury" feel of the rest of the home. Otherwise, dealing with the owners was very easy. They helped us to figure out how to turn on the heater in the spa pool and it worked like a charm. Would have loved to give this home 5*s, if it was a bit cleaner. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great experience all around!

We had the most lovely stay at 7 Bayberry! From start to finish the experience was easy and fun. Owners and property managers were communicative and accommodating. The home was clean, well maintained, and had all the essentials. The layout was perfect for our large group, including kids. Super fun pool/spa, bunk rooms, lounge areas. Beautiful kitchen! The property was safe and secure, with a very quick walk to the beach. This area of the island had endless opportunities for food and fun. We barely scratched the surface with all there is to do there. Thank you so very much, we hope to visit 7 Bayberry again soon!!

Family Vacation 2024

House was perfect for our group and location and access to the beach were fantastic. Only “negative” was the construction noise and dirt from the house across the street. We were unable to use the beautiful outside dining and it was harder to relax outside with a book or by the pool due to this, but this was out of the homeowners control.

Family Wedding

Our family was in town for a wedding and the host Abby and Joe were AMAZING! Rena the property manager promptly contacted us upon arrival and offered to stay for a meet and greet. If you are hesitant to stay with young children there are baby gates for the stairs, a high chair and a pack and play. The walk to the beach is short and is actually very nice little nature walk. Hilton Head is such a friendly island and a place for all ages. We hope to return very soon. Thank you for showing us Southern hospitality at its best!

Phenomenal Family Trip at 7 Bayberry

This property is a unique blend of older bones and upscale improvements. There is an incredible amount of space in both the bedrooms and family living areas. We could not have been more pleased. The youngest in our party are now younger adults and this property was indeed ready for some adulting. Huge kitchen. Great bar area. Beverage cooler. Ice maker. It’s a good list. The short walk through the woods to the beach was an added bonus and surprise. And the beach itself is very wide at this part of the island. The property is just north of Sea Pines and very near tons of retail and shops, if you care about that. And the property manager Rena is a gem. She was very helpful and responsive, but not intrusive. The owners are fortunate to have her represent them. We plan to be back.

Perfect for our family

7 Bayberry Lane is a wonderful property with excellent amenities. We stayed there May 18th-25th. There were 8 adults and 2 children under 2. We were a mile from Coligny and .5 miles from Sea Pines. The beach was steps away and far less crowded than Coligny beach which we enjoyed. We loved that the owners provided beach chairs, wagon and beach towels. The 2 dishwashers 2 refrigerators and 2 washer and dryers were very appreciated. The layout of the home was perfect for our family of 10. The 6 bedrooms and bathrooms were all very spacoius. The 2 living areas were nice if people want a little separation. Rena, the property manager, is very helpful and was quick to answer questions. We had a minor problem that she resolved efficiently. Thank you to Abby and Joe for letting us rent your beautiful home. We would stay at this property again.

Great Family House

This was a great family house with everything you need (two living rooms, large kitchen and dining, plenty of bedrooms many with bathrooms, pool and hot tub, deck, etc). The house was updated and very clean and had an elevator for hauling supplies or anyone with mobility issues. It was a short walk right to the beach with the Marriott beach restaurant right next door. Everything you could want for a family/group vacation. We might be back!
