Amazing location, very clean, well stocked kitchen. Overall very nice space!I didn't love that I had to make a stop to check-in. Everything was done by code that could have been sent via email or text. No need to add an extra step after we had a 15 hour drive to get there. We weren't able to get the AC work while we were there. Wasn't needed too much as it wasn't that hot, but we followed the directions and they kicked in the first day but not after that. We also couldn't get the internet to stay on during our stay.

We love this area of Hilton Head and have been vacationing here for 19 years. We have stayed in this unit in the past - great recent remodel with updated decor. Lots of sleeping options for nine. And lots of extra towels and linens, but the unit could have been a bit cleaner (specifically surfaces and floors). We like the small building with just a few units/guests.We love that it's directly on the beach (with a bit of an ocean view from the side balcony) and close to Coligny Plaza (restaurants & shopping). The bike rental credit and delivery upon arrival was also a plus because we always rent bikes.Our biggest disappointment was that the internet kept going out. Obviously, not the owner/property manager's fault (they were quick to respond to our calls and sent someone out), but it was out on a rainy Saturday when going to the beach and riding bikes was not an option and football games were on. The internet provider wasn't able to fix it that day. Definitely recommend Beachwood Place!

Don’t typically leave reviews but felt we needed to on this. Starting at the beginning, elevator button one first floor wouldn’t work, so we had to carry all luggage, including 2 babies, up to the third floor. Elevator would work going from 3rd floor down, but the button on first floor was broken (called to inform host this upon arrival but didn’t seem to care too much), this would also effect us later upon leaving as at checkout the button was actually stuck leaving the elevator stalled and open on the first floor and unable to close to call up to the third floor. Item number 2: WiFi would not work with the given password. Even the TV was disconnected saying password was incorrect, tried calling the management co on this several times mid day but no answer.Item number 3: The room is very high humidity. We understand this is a beach property and will inherintly be higher, but not this high. When you enter the room you are hit with a moldy/ mildew smell. Fan in the one bathroom barely works, and fan in the 2nd bathroom didn’t work at all. There were black moldish looking spots on the ceiling around the fan in the one bathroom. Our baby monitor has a humidity reader on it and read 74% throughout the day.Item number 4: flooded path to beach - we understand this can’t be controlled by the management company, but we were unable to use the walkway to the beach (main reason for paying more and booking oceanfront vs 2nd or 3rd row) due to apparent high rain the prior week.

Great location, everything you need

Had a great stay in this condo, location is steps away from the beach and having to pool to cool off was a great treat.Close to coligny & tiki bar, on bike routes to make it easy to get around. Would highly recommend.

Great condo

We loved the condo itself and the location! The pool isn't huge but we had it to ourselves most of the time and beach access is right there also. Plenty of room for my family of 4. The only improvement I would recommend is to email the check in information- there's really no need to go to the rental office to pick up the paper with codes. Codes. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

Loved the location! On the beach and walking distance to shops and many restaurants. PROS: Location, nicely decorated, comfy primary bed, ocean view, easy beach access, walking distance to Coligny Plaza for shopping/dining, pool on property, property manager responded fairly quickly to an inquiry while we were visiting.CONS: Very small primary bathroom- we are two average sized adults and the shower was claustrophobic. Very small stackable washer/dryer, which fits loads smaller than half of typical appliances. Unit is located directly across from the neighboring buildings stairwell, a very brightly lit stairwell. The unit lacked privacy - there was only one curtain panel on the slider, making it challenging to keep out the light in the evenings. The balcony is accessed via the slider, so little privacy there. There are also many windows adjacent to the stairwell which required keeping the primary bedroom shades drawn.

Wonderful property

We enjoyed our stay very much! The weather was rainy, but we still had fun. The condo was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. Restaurants in the vicinity were nice, and the beach was a short walk. We are definitely planning to return soon.

A wonderful updated conveniently located place for a fan!

We loved our time at this property. It was updated and clean. We would have used a dust pan, but everything else was perfect! The convenience of the beach, and laundry on site was perfect. We loved the smaller setting that was not crowded or loud!

Determined to visit here next year

This was a fantastic condo. Newly updated, clean and super close to the beach. With 3 young children the ease to the beach was such a bonus for us. The property is well maintained and quiet yet close to shopping as well as restaurants. These condos can be difficult to secure so we are already planning to book for next year. My only advice is bring your own salt and pepper, seasoning non stick spray ext because there was none. Also the washing machine was very small and you can only wash or dry clothes one at a time you can not wash clothes and dry some at the same time. These were both super minor and again we had and a fantastic time. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay!

Location - excellent Beach access- close and easy Condo- kitchen has all you would need, small washer/dryer in unit was a bonus, very comfortable beds, beach wagon and gear to use Robert was quick to respond to texts and calls and helped to quickly resolve any minor issues we had. We would stay here again for sure.

We stayed here as a family of 4 for a week. The condo was quite comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent and within walking distance to many great spots along Pope avenue. The one drawback is that the pool was not heated this early in March, despite the weather being exceptional and other locations nearby which were heated.
