When sun was out it was difficult to see tv picture. Zero privacy. Will probably get very hot in the unit during spring/summer*Master bath very slow to drain*Water pressure in master shower very poor*Vents on main level were not working so stayed cold*No blinds on large window at mid stair landing(above front door) and anyone can see right in to the master bedroom*WiFi address listed in instructions was non existent. We found the correct one searching in the WiFi list*Lots of dog owners didn’t pick up after their dogs*Deck table needs to be replaced - sharp rusted exposed edges. Dangerous*Key for utility closet listed as hanging in kitchen but wasn’t. Found on our last day in another closet on top of a paint can (we think)*Washing machine wasn’t working and figured out the water wasn’t turned back onOverall this is a decent place to stay and was very clean but we won’t stay here again. I called and left a message for Vacasa and did a live chat but never received a call back and no one reached out or came to check on the washer situation. Thankfully my husband figured that one out. Disappointed for what we paid to stay here.

Stayed here a few days before renting a house. Location is great. Pool is very nice. Condo is okay. The floors sagged in several places. Light in the downstairs bathroom did not work. Not a big deal.

The place was not taken care of well and infested with fleas. As first we thought it was mosquitos but caught a few. Left the place early. I’m sure other villas were taken better care of. Two areas of the flooring felt like you could fall through.

HH to the rescue

Much needed rest, relaxation and sun. The condo was great for the 3 of us. Loved the location on the golf course. The Palmetto Dune Buggy is a fantastic amenity for the quick ride to the beach. The local property representative, Matt, went above and beyond to get us beach chairs.

Very Dated!!

We’ve stayed in many condos in Palmetto Dunes in our 20 years of visiting HHI! This was our very least favorite. We should’ve known when we were renting from a “company” instead of an individual owner. From entry into the loud front door, to no a/c for the first 2 days, the only great thing was the view off back deck, LOCATION and the fact that we were granted a free night (after I asked) because of 80 degree temps inside the condo for the first 2 days
 The pictures online looked great!

Property was beautiful, wonderful deck and scenic view. Only complaint was the bathroom lighting is not so great in either bathroom and the upstairs bath air vent does not seem to be working, it gets hot in there. Otherwise a comfortable unit.

Great VRBO Hilton Head rental!!! Perfect for a quick getaway! Unit was clean, comfortable, with a great location for both golf & beach! We’re already planning our return visit!

Great location, basic unit

The resort is amazing -- tons to do: beach, pools, walking, kayaking, biking, pickleball, golf. The unit itself is pretty basic. It could use some improvements in the bathrooms; furniture is older and stained. But it's a good price and worked well for our family + dog.

New Years get away!

When we arrived after midnight the combination to the front door lock DID NOT work! No matter how many ways we tried! I called the Vacasa number and was sent a text link
which wasn’t answered until the next morning at 6:30 am! Luckily I had spoken to a Vacasa rep earlier in the day due to a cleaning schedule issue and I kept his number so I texted him at midnight and he was able to give me the combo to a lock box code to get a key! The text message the next morning promised me a new code which didn’t work either and I got locked out (didn’t being the key because of a new code) in my pjs. I was able to bang in the front bedroom window and wake up my kids to let me in! We just used the key the rest of the weekend! 
otherwise the apartment was just like the listing, nothing fancy and suited our purposes for a quick get away with our pup! The fridge was brand new
even had to pull the safety tape off the shelving and drawers! Oh and the cleaners left a load of towels in the washer that I ended up running, drying and folding so we could use the machines! Besides those items, we had a nice time!

Fall Break Fun

The property was in a great location for our family. The kids could ride their bike and stay away from the traffic. The unit was very kid friendly. We loved eating on the spacious deck. You can tell they are trying to make the unit nicer with the updating.

Awesome location and layout of villa.

We enjoyed our 3 week stay and have rented the unit for 4 weeks next year. The location can’t be beat. It is convenient to the beach, golf and pickle ball. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked most meals in the unit and I found everything I needed.

Well worn

This property is not worth the cost. The kitchen pans / utensils / appliances all need replaced. Carpets and furniture are worn out / stained and need replaced. The worst property we ever rented and I'm sure not indicative of the surroundings.
