Great location, but safety and maintenance issues

Overall, we were disappointed with the property. I was concerned about the deck before arrival based on past reviews, and it really was a hazard. No one should go outside without shoes. Boards were warped with rusted nails, lifting and finishing nails sticking out of banisters. The grill also had a gas leak in the hose to the propane tank leaking gas all in the backyard. They said they’d replace the grill but didn’t after two days. In addition to that, unfortunately there’s just maintenance issues that need to be done to the property (broken screens on porch, microwave door won’t open without force, broken box fan, dishwasher soap won’t open. We also had a few roaches pop up and the Wi-Fi is very spotty and poor. The location is great and the bones of the house are good. It just needs investment to get it up to expectations. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend until work is done.

Good location, not the cleanest, Vacasa check-in poor

Not the cleanest place around. It was in a great location and great neighborhood. Overall, it fit out needs but not a very clean place and the nicest place but not a problem for our needs. Using Vacasa for check-in was terrible and started the trip off poorly. They tell you nothing accurately about what to do a the location and where to go.

Mooring tesident

We felt the dishes were dirty so we could not eat till we washed the dishes. Freezer had to replace the filter, so we couldn’t use the ice. Which tennis players need a lot of ice. Missing TV’s in most bedrooms did not work, we couldn’t get the one in the living room to work. Called the number , that they gave us to report things , said they would be at the house to fix things there never came. Called again the second day we were there, said someone would come, they didn’t, we left a day early because of all the problems and no support. We are expecting some kind of refund. But haven’t heard from the company.

Great stay

This house was perfect for our 3 family gathering. It’s large kitchen, open living space, screen porch and easy access to the beach made for a wonderful trip. If I’m being super picky, I’d remind other guests to have shoes you can wear on the pool deck. It’s not in great condition and we were worried about rusty screws and splinters for kids.

Nice house but
..

The house was set up nice, however the showers were not as clean. We had a shower head come off one of the spare bathroom showers. It had been repaired before but whoever tried to fix it used electrical tape. It obviously didn’t work. I made two calls and sent two emails to the management company with pictures but nothing was done about fixing it. They had promised to send someone but no one ever came or called. We are not impressed with the management company. The house overall needs some repairs.

Great house for families of all ages!

Our family all enjoyed the location and all the house had to offer. The only drawback was the cold weather which no one can control...but the house was a bit chilly since the houses in HH are not built for such cold weather. We would have loved to have used the screened in porch. Would enjoy returning during warmer weather.

Multigenerational Thanksgiving

Great time was had during a multigenerational Thanksgiving trip. Location is best aspect - beautiful neighborhood and very short walk/bike to beach. Does take a bit of time to get to main roads. Kitchen was fairly well equipped, though zero staples (eg salt, cooking oil). Cleanliness in house decent, though cushions in screened in porch were nearly unusable. Bedrooms were comfortable and lay out of house was conducive to socializing while still having private space in bedrooms. We never got the Wi-Fi to work, nor the TV in one of the bedrooms. Fortunately cell reception was great and we could use our hot spots. Stairs into house may be a problem for older or other guests - front stairs treacherous. We had our elderly relatives come and go through the garage and internal stairs. Overall, a lovely house on the canal, in a great location. Good place for larger groups. Highly recommend renting bikes and riding them on the beach - great activity for everyone!

Family get away

This is a nice property somewhat seculded. Its a bit of a drive to loop through the neighborhood but I feel that adds to the security and exclusiveness. Walk to the beach was pleasant and not too long. This house provided what we needed for a week with the family

Beautiful house with easy beach access

Wonderful rental property

The home was great for our family of 10! Apparently we weren't emailed the key code for the house, so checking in was a little confusing and had everyone a little a nervous. My husband was able to call the manager who apologized and gave him a new code. The house was very nice, comfortable, and had enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space. Great location, easy walk or bike ride to the beach with little ones. The kids loved the pool! It was a little small when all of the kids were in, but a definite bonus! Bike and canoe rentals were close by. We discovered that the washing machine didn't spin water out from the clothes and beach towels, and one side of the toaster didn't work, but those were the only things about the house that weren't in order. Loved the screened in porch and deck. Wish we had more time to use the grill, but ordering take out from nearby restaurants was great too! We definitely found some favorites on the island. We also took in a Dolphin Seafari cruise and due to Covid restrictions, our family had the whole boat to ourselves! We had a great time and plan on coming back soon!

Great location!

We loved staying at this beach house with a large pool and great, short walk to the beach. The only negatives were that the washer did not ring out the clothes at all, so doing laundry was virtually impossible. That was pretty frustrating because we cycled through towels quickly and couldn’t dry them despite other attempts. The bed linens also should be updated and the cabinets should be given a thorough cleaning. The living areas were large and bright, and having four full bathrooms was helpful. The lagoon in the back gives a great view and the walk to the beach truly five minutes! It’s also great to have a shower out back to wash the sand off.

Good Weekend Stay

House was exactly as advertised. Great location, easy walk to the beach. Check-in process was a bit of a cluster, but we got it worked out. Definitely a quiet community, we turned on some music around the pool at lunch time and within 30 minutes security had showed up and made us turn it off. The pool pH levels were off, turning multiple swimsuits and friends blonde hair a greenish color... I'm sure this easy fix by adjusting the chemicals.... Plenty of parking and overall we had a good long-weekend stay.

Big house close to the beach

Home was a 5 minute walk to the beach, but it could use some updates. The bedrooms have a bamboo floor which was extremely uncomfortable on bare feet.

Great location!

This is a nice home within very easy walking distance to the beach. The common areas (kitchen, living room, screened porch) are huge and layout was terrific. The bedrooms (other than the master) are somewhat small and the mattresses could use to be updated. The frying pans need replacement, there are cracks in the coffee pot, and an outlet cover was missing in the kitchen. Also, the home seemed dark in family room area and bathrooms. The community is lovely with lots to do including tennis, bike rental, and a beautiful beach! Overall we had a great stay, but home needs a few updates.

Love it!!
