This is a beautiful property with plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate our large family who traveled from out of state to attend our sonâs graduation. The kitchen is large and fully stocked, the house is clean and well-appointed, and there is plenty of seating and space to gather or entertain (including a large front porch with stellar views of sunsets on the Blue Ridge mountains). There is a swimming pool where the teen kids liked to hang out. My elderly parents stayed in the cabin on the property, while the rest of us took over the farmhouse and cottage. The cabin was a great set-up for them â all on one level and easy to move around. We would definitely book a stay on this property again!
My friends and I were obsessed with this house. We stayed here for a girls trip/my sisterâs bachelorette party and had such a great time. The home is so beautiful and so is the property. We loved hanging out by the pool and cooking in the kitchen. Everything was very clean and comfortable and I enjoyed learning about the history of the home from the owner we were definitely stay here again we had a wonderful time.
Stayed here for a girls trip. Inside was nice and clean and decorated beautifully. The views from the front porch and around the pool were great. The house is very close to a number of wineries and restaurants but still feels very private. While I did this trip with a group 18+, I could see taking a family here too and having a lovely time.
First time staying in a 150 year old house and it was just perfect!!
Large farm house that has some really nice updates in the well stocked kitchen. Jessica and Matt have done an exceptional job restoring the house and have just the right touches.
We use our microwave at home almost everyday and not having one, we didn't miss a beat with the Wolf Stove/Oven.
Pool was a huge hit!! The grounds are on a working farm and the views to the Blue Ridge Mountains were breath taking. Ate 6 meals on the front porch admiring the beauty.

The historic home was located in farm country but was close to wineries and the Skyline Drive. Our daughter and son-in-law love to cook, so the kitchen appliances were a big plus, although there is no microwave for my popcorn. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well supplied with fluffy towels. The bedrooms did not have curtains covering the large windows and car lights flashed from the road so I felt a little exposed and did not sleep well. We tend to stay in historical properties when we visit and this home was a great choice. All in all the visit was a good experience.
This house and property already has me wanting to make plans to bring others. Stunning views all around the house - the pool was great and the field in front was awesome for some adult kickball games! We only had 7 people, and the listing says it sleeps 12, but with the amount of space, I'm sure you could sleep more if you brought air mattresses. The kitchen and appliances were amazing (oddly enough, there wasn't a microwave, but it wasn't needed with that Viking range and oven).
There were plenty of places to hang out in and around the property and plenty of vineyards, breweries and restaurants within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this property and we will be back!
We absolutely loved this house! It is a charming 19th century farmhouse that has been updated to 21st century standards without losing its charm. Three spacious bedrooms upstairs and plenty of space downstairs. And absolutely wonderful grounds and pool. And gorgeous countryside. We couldnât have been happier
