This is an old motel 6 it needs updating. It also seems to have a lot of permanent residents even one staying in a camper on the property. The linens were clean the room basically clean however there was a smell that smelled like a dog may have previously pooped on the rug in our room. The tables in the communal area were very dirty. The pool appeared clean we didnât use it. Used the laundry room however after an hour and a half of our stuff being in the dryer it was still very wet. The dryer exhaust needs to be cleaned as thereâs hardly any air coming out of the dryer vent fins. We told the receptionist that there could be a dryer fire she just said mmmhmmm. There are a lot of people here and thereâs always the smell of marijuana. If I were there alone I wouldnât have felt safe.
My husband and I stayed in a 'handicap accessible' room. The phone in the room was disabled due to a frayed cord. I had to call the office on my cell. The TV reception was awful. The bed was worn and uncomfortable. The faucet in the bathroom was leaking. The toilet handle was broken. The morning complimentary coffee was weak and terrible tasting. When we returned from our day trip on the first day of are 2-day stay, our room keys had been disabled. Which required another trip to the office. I am 2 wks from back surgery and the walks to the office were hard on me. I've had more comfortable stays in a tent camping.
