First impression was good with customer service. The lobby smelled really good. Eventually I started getting really stuffy and sick but only when I go to the room. When I went outside for the day I was perfectly fine. I realized it was only in the room and I kept getting progressively more stuffy as the week went on. I once saw the desk agent spraying air freshener in the lobby. What was he masking. By the time I got home I got totally sick from having stuffy nose and sinus infections. Don’t stay here. It’s not worth getting sick

So for the most part, my stay was not too bad. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room is a bit dated, but for the most part was quiet other than the ridiculous guest that I had to deal with next-door. But that’s another issue. What got me? The worst was my last day there having to deal with a cockroach issue that obviously I was not expecting to wake up to. I informed the staff downstairs about it and they said they would just let maintenance know. I honestly feel that there is a problem when it comes to roaches and if they’re there, they are everywhere. I unfortunately will never return back to this hotel because of that and I hope none of those bugs ended up in my luggage. I would hope somebody would reach out to me and possibly accommodate me for my inconvenience. I do have photos of that damn bug.

The view from the 7th floor is amazing! You can see everything going on in the area. I love the outdoor space on the top floor. It’s very relaxing. It’s also great to see Herman in his bowl. He might be getting up in fish years. But I’m always happy too see him still swimming with Aloha.
