Two weeks at Princess K pros and cons
- Ocean view: there are no rooms with ocean view as advertised on website. In fact the closest you’ll get is 2/3 city view and 1/3 ocean view. So if you’re paying for the ocean view, it is a scam.
- Elevators: they have been in reparation for a great deal of time now. With 1 to 2 on 4 cars working, lines of frustrated tourists accumulate in front of the elevators that sometimes skips your floor, doesn’t stop at all, stops at every floor or simply cancels the floor request you made. Plan 5-20 min every time you need to get out of or back to your room.
- Wifi: flaky, slow, cuts.
- Restaurant: don’t be fooled by the gorgeous appetizing pictures on the website, the menu lacks choices and food is passably edible.
- Pool: again, don’t get fooled by the pictures, the pool is tiny and closes at 6.
- Gym: a couple of nice machines but no barbels, no plates. Plan your workouts accordingly.
- Staff: floor staff is very polite and respectful. Lobby staff on the other is not very accommodating.
- Very noisy due to echo between buildings, you constantly hear amplified street noise
- Bottom line: avoid.
