I really wanted to leave a positive review for this stay, but unfortunately I can’t do so.Upon arrival,there was no parking pass available, despite it being indicated in the check-in instructions and the condo looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I contacted Koko Resorts, and to their credit, they were very responsive and brought the pass right away. Because of the Kona Low storm and the strain it put on staffing, no cleaners were available at the time, but a manager did come by with cleaning supplies and did some light spot cleaning.However, the condition of the unit was far below expectations. It was visibly dirty in multiple areas: there were ice cream drips on the counter running down the cabinet fronts, hair hanging off the dining table, hair in the tub/shower, and thick dust along the bed frame (the manager did wipe that down). Unfortunately, throughout the week, I continued to discover more cleanliness issues. The kitchen backsplash was extremely dirty—I wiped it with a rag and it came away black. The floor lamp and fans were covered in dust (I cleaned the fan myself)The floors along the bedroom baseboards were nasty. The kitchen was lacking - 1 spatula, no corkscrew, 2 coffee mugs - The furniture was worn and dirty - I covered with towels, the curtains were ripped and dusty - clearly no pride of ownership. I've stayed at the Banyan several times and this is by far the worst unit. The view however is spectacular! I would not recommend unless changes are made.
