Bathroom has a glass door so the whole room illuminates at night if someone turns the light on. The glass doors to balcony allow for a great view but they are so old and loud when opening that you can hear above and below when they open theirs and they offer no sound buffering from the music and crowds below.Room has no click/alarm. Water refill stations are only on 1st and 3rd floor, so it’s quite a trip to refill water bottles. Also, there are three microwaves for the entire hotel to use and you have to go to the second floor for them. Why not put a water refill station, and a microwave on each of the 25 floors so that guests don’t have to search to find them? Hotel also began tree trimming and yard maintenance at 6:45 AM. Staff was kind. Location is great. Room was clean.

We had an amazing stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott! The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach with stunning ocean views and easy access to shops, restaurants, and everything Waikiki has to offer. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the staff was consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. The amenities, pools, and on-site dining were excellent, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Waikiki and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oahu.

Great hotel, great amenities. Pool bar and restaurant was expensive but service was good and food was tasty. Great view of the ocean from our room. Staff were friendly throughout the property!

The area was so convenient to shopping and steps away from the beach. The entire staff was so helpful for anything my family needed. Very clean and had everything you need at the hotel. Loved th experience and will be the only place me and my family stays.

Staff was great and the room was bright and big. Bathroom door broken and they fixed it very quickly. Good gym, decent pools. Construction wasn't great but not a major problem. Great location. A little loud but right in the action across from the beach. A little dated but they are working on it.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK AN “OCEAN VIEW” ROOM Marriott seriously needs to stop misleading guests. What they call an “ocean view room” should be listed as PARTIAL ocean view at best. The photos in the listing are completely deceptive and do not reflect reality. We specifically booked an ocean view room and instead were given a room overlooking a parking lot, with only a very distant, partial glimpse of the ocean. This was absolutely not what we paid for. When we raised this issue, the front desk staff simply said, “This is all you can get,” with no effort to help or acknowledge the problem. To make things worse, this hotel is not family-friendly at all. There was constant noise from parties nearby and heavy road noise late into the night. Our son was repeatedly disturbed, making it impossible to relax or get proper rest. Between the false advertising, unhelpful staff, poor room placement, and nonstop noise, this stay was extremely disappointing. Marriott should update their room descriptions and photos immediately and stop misleading guests. We would not stay here again and strongly warn others not to book the so-called “ocean view” rooms.

I wouldn’t stay in Marriot again, the service in Waikiki was not that great. The hotel is not beach front - you have to wait to an overcrowded area by the beach - not that great. $55 resort fee, even when you don’t use the am amenities, no room service, I selected city view and was assigned next to the parking lot with a lot of noise. Late check out 150$ even when you are a Marriot member, staff very slow. I don’t recommend this hotel? For the amount paid is not worth it.
