Easy to self check in. Room adequate for our one night need. Shame no tea and coffee making but understand the no food and drink rule in the room. Checked out before breakfast so cannot comment on that. Didn't meet any staff but they were contactable by phone if needed.
The staff was unwelcoming insisting that I didnât have a reservation from the moment we arrived. I showed them my reservation, spoke with someone on the phone and they kept insisting I was wrong. Finally they found it in a separate book marked Expedia reservations and allowed us into our room. The room was old and not very clean. The heater was broken but they provided a space heater. The shower and sink didnât drain. The bed had no top sheet and flat pillows. The TV didnât work. The one useable power outlet was under a table far from a mirror, another had duck tape over it. The only bathroom outlet was broken too. The breakfast was supposed to be 7-9am but at 7:20 the room was dark and empty and didnât have coffee. Will never stay there again and recommend anywhere else. Only nice thing was the Ye Olde Sixe Bells restaurant and pub was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend that if in Horley. Just stay somewhere else.
Very close to gatwick airport and Horley train station comfy beds beautiful back area with plenty of birds, cont breakfast included. Helpful staff safe for solo travelers good food close by
Efficient, friendly, helpful staff. Spacious clean rooms. Good location near to airport and plenty of nearby dinning opportunities. Very impressed with the long stay car parking and shuttle service.
Basic budget B&B. Tired rooms. Tired mattresses. Very basic breakfast. Cereals and toast. Walking distance to some good restaurants. On the bus route for LGW.
Staff very available and helpful.
