We stayed a week at this mountain home in an excellent location, secluded but close to everything. Angela's place has everything you need inside (and extras) for a cosy stay and outside is a garden oasis with the most relaxing porches perfect for rocking and enjoying nature. We easily accessed the Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown Asheville, Chimney Rock, and other attractions from her place. Angela was a warm and friendly host with the sweetest dog Buddy. She was very easy to communicate with, answered any questions we had quickly, and gave us privacy in the home and yard. A highlight was a tour of her studio and her artwork. A most enjoyable stay!
House has severe water damage near bathroom, the mold got us sick. There are four different essential oil defusers around the house covering up the smell. Mold in the washing machine. Host lives 20 ft from the door and lets her dog out on property off leash despite rules, neighborhood dogs up on the porch harassing our dogs whole time. Couch was dirty, changed the cleaning list while we were there. Has all sorts of kooky rules pasted to the wall.Beautiful location on the river. Overall a bad experience
Our first impression as we drove up to this cute little cabin was very positive. As we walked inside, things just got better, it was clean, neat, and the aroma of the log cabin was very appealing. We were meeting other family members here and it was such a wonderful retreat. The beds were comfortable, there was a coffee bar, very workable, kitchen and comfortable living room and bedrooms. My daughter said she slept better here than she did at home in her own bed. The host was very gracious and friendly, we will definitely be coming back. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay close to the activities of Asheville.
Angela is an exceptionally kind individual, and her cabin is beautiful and filled with a lot of intentional little pieces that made the stay great. It was a very relaxing environment, and the dogs were very comfortable both in the yard and in the home (we were too!).The location canât be beat, about five minutes to north mills river (and national forest access) and five minutes to the grocery store. Sweet and easy neighborhood. Angela was extremely accommodating and also allowed us complete privacy. We have already booked a second stay.
We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this cabin. The place is in great shape with thought going into every detail and has very nice landscaping outside. The property was peaceful and we really loved spending time in the morning enjoying coffee on the porch. The location was great for accessing the Pisgah mountain bike trails and fishing the Mills River just minutes away. It was a good central location between some of the places we like to visit in Asheville, the forest trails and the Davidson River down near Brevard.
The cabin was great! Angela had everything we needed including a fun coffee bar. Great location - close to Sierra Nevada, easy drive to Hendersonville and hiking options. Quiet and relaxing!
Our stay was cozy and wonderful. Thank you for everything. I found it rather whimsical to be surrounded by your beautiful art through the cabin. Itâs all the little touches that made our visit memorable. We will certainly be back!
