The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, check in/out was easy, A/C worked wonderful. We have a large family and the towels were hidden away in the bedroom closet and only two were set out. One of the towels didnât smell fresh. We had no wash rags. This is an older building with needed repairs around the windows and in the bathroom. I also didnât like that the kitchen/dinning windows only had sheer curtains without blinds for privacy. With all that being said, we werenât looking for a long stay, we felt safe and the room was comfortable.
Our stay was good, the beds were comfortable and the room clean. The host was very responsive and kind anytime we had questions. Perfect setup of dishes and a kitchenette, so we were able to save money on eating out. We wanted to hang out by the fire pit on the patio, but there was no lighting and it was very dark - wonderful for stargazing, but worrisome for safety. Also, there are advertisements on their website and in the room that state a breakfast is served daily, but we found out they were old and never updated. All things considering, it was a wonderful stay for the value, although a few small improvements would go a long way in my opinion 3
The owner was awesome in communication. We met a few times during our stay and he sat and talked to us every time. He was really sweet in the morning and offered us donuts beings we left so early. Do recommend. Right outside of Hot springs and close t convenience stores.
The beds were extremely comfortable. Very clean rokm and bathroom. Ice machine was not working so no ice. There are older signage for brekfast and where things areall thru room but they are old they are bot right at all. The staff on site are wonderful andvery kind
The images for this units don't match the unit. The location of this property is in a part of Hot Springs that is in the process of be refurbished. Staff was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable.
Pros:
Close to downtown Hot Springs.
AC units work great (very cold even in July.)
Easy check-in/ check-out process.
Microwave, mini fridge & coffee maker.
Tv's work great and had several streaming options.
Plenty of pillows.
Decent price.
Cons:
Thin walls/ Noisy Traffic.
Uneven floors (floors in bathroom in need of repair.)
Floors throughout needed to be swept/mopped. Our white socks turned brown walking on the floors. There was also dirt and crumbs that you could feel on your feet if you walked barefooted. I am a neat freak so this really disturbed me.
Sheets on the main bedroom bed had some orange stains/appeared dirty.
The matrices on the beds were thin and uncomfortable.
The sheets/ blankets were also thin and uncomfortable.
We were given 2 towels for 5 people staying 2 nights.. would have preferred at least 1 towel per person.
Overall, we personally would not stay here again.
It is an old strip motel. Parking area was very narrow for a minivan to fit. It was a very clean space, just not very roomy. Outdated but fresh paint and newer tv with Wi-Fi. Beds were uncomfortable. Property was suppose to have a stovetop and did not. The refrigerator was semi sized. No balcony or pool. Grill is community use located at the back of property. Very close to the road at the edge of town which is a main through to get to town which made it kind of loud at night and it was very bright. People were friendly and it was very clean as stated, but much smaller and less accommodating than what I thought it would be.
The inn itself has potential. I was disappointed there was no pool, like there was posted on the fb page, and it was stated on an info sheet inside that there would be breakfast and there wasnt. We also didnt have a microwave in our unit so that also was a disappointment. Unit was clean, and communication with owner was great. There was a power outage in the area and we were refunded our second night since we had to leave to find another hotel. My husband uses a cpap to sleep and we were traveling with our 3 kids and a dog and were heading to Galveston the next morning so we needed a good nights sleep.
Overall it was a.nuce place to stay during our visit to Hot Springs, just a few thungs need addressed and updated. We felt safe and liked how close it was to downtown.
This is an older motor-court style hotel right off of Hwy 7. We were in the unit closest to the highway and there was quite a bit of road noise. Since we were there only one night, we tolerated it. Both bedrooms had window A/C units which were noisy, too. The positive was how easy it was to get to downtown Hot Springs, the bath houses, the mountain observation tower, etc. All in all, we would not return to this property.
This is an older property but it is kept very clean and is a nice place to stay. We did have one problem with the shower but the owner immediately called someone to come and fix it. We were really happy with how everything was handled quickly and everyone was very nice and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Everything was very clean. The property is a little rundown, but everything still works. The walls are extremely thin, so all of the traffic and construction noise just comes right through. Overall, however, it was exactly what we needed, and the host was very communicative.
The stay was overall good. The unit was very clean and everything was easy. Only downside was the place needed updates, such as the tub and a few other small things. We just needed a place to crash for the night and this place was great.
