The house was clean and was a good fit for our family trip! We couldnât get the WiFi to work, the host attempted to contact the vendor but it never did work. There were some outlets that didnât work, but host said they were going to be fixed. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again!
Host was very apologetic, but the WiFi wasnât working, seemed someone may have stolen the Ethernet cord. There was also an outlet that wasnât working at all for the coffee maker.Host seemed completely unaware and was very apologetic, but it did affect our stay
Loved staying there, very roomy and plenty of room for all of us! We only stayed one night but Iâm sure if we stayed longer it would have been just as nice!
We arrived in the evening and rec'd the entry code just fine but we never received the computer network (WIFI)code that we were promised so we had no email access, no computer access at all and no TV access. The house was fine, beds not all that comfortable but do-able. No dishwasher. Handles on under-sink in the kitchen were broken. Yard not mowed but we didn't use the yard anyway.Saturday morning at about 10 am 3 policemen arrived with guns drawn to the house directly across the street. Someone had left the house vacant with 3 abandoned dogs that could run in and out of the house at will. My daughter tried to take her dog for a morning walk and the 3 dogs charged at her - this happened twice. Dog pound had to come. Our homeowner had no control over this but still, it was a bad experience, esp. for our daughter and her dog.The rest of the neighborhood was quiet/peaceful. It is not close to the water but close the the main street so we did not have far to go to get groceries, to eat or to sightsee downtown. A big house with lots of beds. We were not in the house that much- only in late evening so it was ok for us. but we did think it was a little expensive for what we got. As far as no wi-fi for the weekend - that was ok - teens weren't stuck on their computers - but still, it was promised.
For a group of mid 20s guys, this was a perfect place to stay. Manager was very fast to respond and easy check-in and check-out. Property within walking distance of Oaklawn and plenty of beds/rooms. If we go back to Hot Springs as a group, we'll absolutely be staying here.
The house worked fine for our group wanting to be close to Oaklawn without breaking the bank. Cleanliness was an issue as there was dirt in the beds and dead bugs on the floor in the basement. We also found some dead bugs in the Keurig. It was evident no one had been to the house in a while since both refrigerators had leaked out onto the floor when we arrived. There were no hand towels and only 6 shower towels although the house advertises it sleeps 10 people. Beds did not have full sets of sheets. House has potential but needs some work. Host was nice and quick to respond when we had issues.
