The house was very nice and in a great location. The ceiling fans were really dirty. Some of the window blinds would not close. There were lack of staple supplies like toilet paper, wash cloths, etc. Regardless of these issues we did have a great stay. ,

Great place!

The house was big, clean, in a great neighborhood, and a good fit for our crew! The only thing was the garage door didn’t come up for us to be able to park inside and the a/c filters in the house needed to be changed. The porch could have used a good wash down before we got there and some better furniture for us to be able to sit outside. The chairs were old and one was broken. Other than those minor things, everything else was great!! Would recommend bringing some bug spray, being on the lake the mosquitos were pretty bad!

Beware of this home-- It is not clean and has roaches!!!

I want to begin by saying I was very excited to rent this house and be by the lake, so for everything to go downhill so quickly was extremely disappointing. The check in for this house was Sunday August 4th and we arrived around 4 pm. I will disclose initially I thought the home was clean, but I came to find out soon it was not. Monday morning, I discovered-- 1. A yard full of dog poop that was not mine ( you get charged for leaving poop) 2. A horribly smelling dumpster that was not only full but had dirty diapers falling out 3. Roaches running from couch to couch and into the kitchen 4. Unsafe doors- the front door locks you out and the back door does not hardly close because people have broken into the property. There is no other choice unless you leave a window or door unlocked. I did not see the roaches until late Monday and Tuesday morning and I called them immediately. My points of contact were Mike and Barry. Mike called me back as well as Barry but after Tuesday I never heard anything else. I contacted VRBO and they contacted the host. The host offered a 20% discount and told me they were aware of the door issue but had not fixed it. I was very disappointed because I do not want to pay for something that is this unclean and they really weren't worried about it to be honest. The check out list is also quite extensive considering how they leave the home. I told them that trash and huge roaches are unacceptable, & they should not rent the home in these conditions.

House

Not enough silverware, dish towels coffee maker went out. Outside chairs on deck very unsafe need replaced. Sink in master bath drains very slow. Shower water pressure in hall bath. They brought us towels and coffee maker hopefully the fixed the other stuff after we left.

4th of July Weekend getaway

The home was very spacious, which allowed for us to not feel like we were on top of one another. Bedrooms were comfortable in size. Very private feel. Easy access to lake Hamilton restaurants and activities. Great deck for entertainment.

Overall Good Value, Clean Place

This was a good value find considering I booked about two weeks prior for Labor Day weekend. House was very spacious and clean. We cooked in the kitchen and used the grill. We had to go to the Harps grocery store which was super close by, very convenient. The property owner promptly texted back, answering my question, which I appreciated. Deck had no furniture besides two chairs and some broken folding chairs. We had to haul up our own chairs to sit on the deck. The lake access was not suitable for swimming, full of green algae and slime. My mom said she found a spot on the sheets in the master bed and washed them before sleeping the first night. We only found four wash cloths in the bathrooms so we had to rewash them after every night.

Summer getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. This place was so close to everything! Loved the privacy of having the house to ourselves. The guys enjoyed the decks overlooking the lake. Such a peaceful environment. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was a little frustrating because the door entry keypad needed a new battery so we couldn't get into the house. The property manager didn't answer his phone. I left a message but he didn't call me back. I had to call the toll free which I assumed is the owner, then the problem was resolved. The house was very clean and well decorated. Just as advertised. i would definitely stay again.

I have visited Hot Springs, Ark. for several years. I was shocked to see the lake level dropped very bad. This does not reflect the property just the outlook.

Nice place

Couple of things that need to happen. The email with the street address said DR At the end. That is not correct, it’s CV. No trash can at the house. It’s on the DR street name. Major thing was home owner needs to clean the carpet in the master bedroom due to several pet stains. You would figured being charged that amount for a cleaning fee they would do it. Overall we enjoyed it.

Extremely Disappointed!!

In receipt of the final bill and I have to say I have never been so disappointed in a VRBO rental. First of all, the lack of communication with Evolve, the management company, was ridiculous. Once reserved, we reached out to confirm patio furniture, a gas grill and how to pay the pet deposit. They did respond, though short and rude and never letting us know how to pay for pet fee. Upon arrival around 5:00 p.m., the propane tank for the gas grill was empty. We made contact with Evolve and was told a tank was being dropped off shortly. Around 7:00 p.m. we still did not have a propane tank and since we had planned on grill out for the evening, we refilled the tank ourselves. Then we discovered the latch on the back deck was broken, the fireplace did not work, dishwasher was not mounted and falling out of counter, and the microwave (which had old crusty food residue) had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We never did hear back from Evolve on how to pay for the pet deposit, it was just charged to the credit card on file once we checked out. So after discovering everything wrong, refilling the propane tank ourselves and never being contacted regarding the pet fee, Evolve took it upon themselves to just take it!! No communication and no apology for never showing up with a propane tank or for the condition of the house, but they got their fees!! Needless to say, I will never rent another VRBO managed by EVOLVE!!

Wonderful

This property is like Heaven on earth. My family and I came down for a relaxing weekend and that’s just what we got. The house was accommodating to what we needed. There no reason for us to call anyone because what we needed was there. It was so beautiful to wake up and see the Sun hit the water. Most definitely will come back and rent this home in the future.

Not Lakefront Property but very Comfortable

The house is really nice and clean. We were disappointed when we first arrived because the property is not on the lakefront, but rather on a small cove that connects to the lake. We decided to make the best of it, and the house turned out to be a good choice. It is on the south end of Hot Springs away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy attractions. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we rested well. I was disappointed that the jacuzzi didn’t work, but I still enjoyed the large bathtub. My suggestion would be to leave a list of instructions for guests including how to work the tv. There were three controls including a Roku that wasn’t activated. Also, let the guests know trash pickup day is Monday. We put our can out when we saw others lined along the street, but we had already missed it. If you don’t want to fish off the property, I would highly recommend this listing.
