This is a great place in a great location! Make sure you have good traction on your vehicle to make it up and down the driveway. We would go here agin!!
We had a great time at logged off, and truly were able to unplug. The beautiful porch and fire pit area were perfect for playing games and making memories. The house not being air conditioned was tough given the humidity of August, but would be perfect at other times of year. We did detect some mold in the basement, so if thatâs something you are sensitive to, this may not be the property for you.
Nice property. Would seem some construction downstairs. No air conditioning. My fault for overlooking, but upstairs 3 beds are basically an oven in July. Driveway is pretty steep with loose gravel. Some crush run and a dozier would help pack it down. Truck preferred.
Beautiful surroundings and great porch to enjoy it.
This peaceful, immaculate and fully accommodating property was more than we had hoped. The owner was very responsive and kind. We enjoyed our family time and the included community center. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thank you!
Stayed here with some friends to run the Jackson River Marathon. Absolutely amazing solitude in nature. The house has all the amenities you need, and the surrounding areas are gorgeous. Property manager was super easy to work with, and stayed in contact throughout.
We had a lovely stay at Logged Off Cabin! We attended a wedding which was on the same street, so it was very convenient for us! The cabin is very comfortable and cozy. The driveway is a little steep, but we didn't have any trouble getting up and down. I could see it being difficult to navigate in the ice/snow/sleet. My one recommendation would be to redecorate/design the main family room. I would add a TV, leather seating, and maybe eliminate one of the fireplaces! We weren't at the cabin much as we had wedding festivities and we spent a lot of time visiting family at the Homestead, which is just a few minutes away. It's a very comfortable and convenient place to stay in relation to the Homestead and other nearby attractions! We visited the Warm Springs, Milk House Market, and one group went fishing in the national forest! Lots to do!
The property is beautiful inside and outside. Lots of areas to relax and enjoy nature. Driveway was steep and long which was a little scary but worth it once you get to the house :)
Beth was accessible, communicative, and ready to help with all the details to make our stay enjoyable. The kids LOVED the woods and the ping pong table in particular. This is a great house for families with plenty of bedrooms that are spread out for privacy, and 3 full bathrooms. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
We loved the house. Having to go get a key was pain. With all the other home rentals we do having a code and just going to the house is perfect. The town isnât far but having had only a weekend getaway and not having access till 4:00 and then having to go into the town it took more time then I would have liked. Also, having to return the key was another step that could easily be removed with a new door lock.
The driveway needs a huge warning. Step is not enough. Getting there in the dark and then trying to make sure you can see it was a slow process. We loved the house and all the extras there. It was a fun weekend. I would also add let quests know about wildlife. We hit a large black bear and one of our cars was totaled and we spent the hours at the ER.
There was 6 of us visiting our son that is working at the Homestead. We needed 4 bedrooms and there was not a lot of choices. This home is only a few miles away from the Homestead and has 4 spacious bedrooms. The kitchen is well appointed and we were able to prepare a meal and plenty of seating at the dining area. There are a few important facts about the house. 1. There is no ac. This is in the listing and I did not think mid September would be an issue but it was. The house was stuffy and rather uncomfortable. We used all of the box fans in the house but especially when cooking we all broke out in a sweat. 2. The driveway is very steep. We rented a 4wd and I am glad we did. The listing also states this. They are very upfront but if you think you car might make it think twice. 3. There is no cell serivice. The wifi worked good but no txt messages or phone calls worked in the house. Not a huge deal but it is worth noting.
The property is quite secluded on a mountainside in beautiful Bath County just a few miles south of the Homestead Resort. The eight of us had plenty of space, and there were plenty of plates, glasses, etc. Although WiFi was excellent, youâll have a better experience if you âlog offâ, ignore the few tvs, and spend more time on the deck. Donât miss âtaking the watersâ at the Warm Springs pools or the falls at Falling Springs. The IGA Valley Market between Hot Springs and Warm Springs had a surprisingly good inventory, is remarkably clean, and provides a helpful and courteous staff. Great experience!
Five of us came up to run the Jackson River marathon and we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house had a decent layout. The deck and screened in porch were lovely places to relax. We were worried about the lack of central AC in June, but it was not a problem.
This comfortable cabin was beautifully decorated for our Christmas stay! So many sweet touches!
Appliances & linens were nice, kitchen necessities were all there.
Lots of living space, a nice fireplace, plus plenty of games and puzzles.
We loved it!
The cabin was better than expected. Very spacious and plenty of room. The only constructive comment would be that all tvs should be streaming available. Couldnât get the tv in the master to work. Other than that, very enjoyable property.
The property was as described. The name is very appropriate. You feel a sense of release from the hustle and bustle of life. A wonderful retreat from our chaotic world. We were there to participate in a state golf tournament at The Homestead. The property was just moments from the multi-day event making it so perfect for our needs.
We were visiting our son who works at the Homestead and this was a perfect location for that. We had lots of room and really enjoyed the porches in the evenings and early mornings. Since there is no AC, we probably wouldnât rebook in the summer, but would definitely consider it in the Fall or Spring.
