"Ein erstaunlich gut gelungenes Designerlebnis, das es möglich macht, eine „Bettenburg“ zu einem Wohlfühlpalast zu machen. Die Zimmer sind durchdacht und atmosphärisch, der grosse Pool ein Traum in Mosaik und die ganze Anlage von Blumen und Grün durchzogen, Das Personals ist ausgesucht höflich und zuvorkommend, (während manche Bewohner es nicht sind), und die Skybar ein absoluter Traum. Das Pau de Lume macht Spass, das Galaxia ist was für einen ganz besonderen Abend, und auch beim Frühstücksbüffet bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Das Spa ist leider akustisch ein wenig hallig, aber ansonsten ein wunderschöner Ort für weniger sonnige Tage. Parken lässt sich für 10€ am Tag. Die Badeprodukte von Castelbel haben für mich persönlich Suchtpotential. Alles in Allem, volle Empfehlung. "

"Sehr ruhige Zimmer hintenraus. Angenehmes Personal, immer freundlich. Die Lage ist hervorragend, um Funchal zu erkunden. Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Auch eigenes Parkhaus und Parkplätze im Hotel kostenlos zur Nutzung vorhanden. Hotel direkt an einem Einkaufszentrum angeschlossen."
