"Um es vorweg zu sagen: es ist gut, dass dieses Hotel seit einigen Wochen einen neuen Hotelmanager hat. Dringend notwendige Arbeiten wurden schon während unseres Aufenthalts begonnen. Wir kamen gegen 21 Uhr im Hotel an und mussten direkt nach einer zirka 20-stündigen Anreise die Rechnung begleichen. Dies hieß allerdings nur, dass uns der Betrag bei der PIN-Eingabe angezeigt wurde. Eine Rechnung haben wir weder gesehen noch am nächsten Tag auf Nachfrage erhalten. Das ist auch insofern erstaunlich, weil der eingeforderte Betrag tatsächlich der Buchung entsprach. Auf unsere Frage, ob wir am nächsten Morgen bezahlen könnten, hieß es: “Kein Geld, kein Zimmerschlüssel”. Dem folgte eine Odyssee mit den schweren Koffern, die wir selbst tragen mussten, durch mindestens 5 Treppenhäuser, obwohl der Zugang zu unserem Zimmer auch über 2 Rampen möglich gewesen wäre. Support beim Gepäck leider Fehlanzeige. Auf dem Zimmer gab es dann auch nicht, wie versprochen, Trinkwasser. Das durfte ich dann selber an der Hotelbar erstehen. In einem Land, wo das Leitungswasser nicht zum Trinken geeignet ist, ist das ein No-Go. Dafür war das Zimmer auf gemütliche 15!! Grad runtergekühlt. Die 2 beworbenen Restaurants im Haus waren während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts geschlossen, wie auch die Poolbar. In der eigentlichen Hotelbar gab es Getränke aus dem Tetrapack und Cocktails, die den Namen nicht verdienen. Die Lage des Hotels und die Anlagen, wenn sie wieder nutzbar sind, sind gut.
