"Sehr schönes Motel mit liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Ruhige Lage, direkt am Strand (durch eine Strasse getrennt) gelegen. In Gehdistanz findet man zwei Restaurants und einen kleinen Markt mit Post.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder im Opononi Lighthouse Motel übernachten. "

Good hotel choice in Orewa
"Overall good hotel right at the water. We had a room without sea view, quiet with parking directly in front of the room. Bed was super comfy, however the room could've had a little more thought put into it. There were no electrical outlets next to the bed, plus the switch for the night stand lights could not be reached when lying in bed. The windows could not be closed, so we had bugs inside. The bathroom did not have a fan to expel the moist air, which causes problems on the ceiling. In addition to that, the joints in the shower could use some extended cleaning or replacement. Overall good (8/10) but some room for improvement."
