Not a good fit if you have any mobility issues. Poor lighting, low furniture and toilets. Each bathroom has step over tubs with the primary being high and wide. On the plus side there is a shower chair in the closet and also a rolling walker if needed. Smell and cleanliness are lacking.
The host was great & responsive. The amenities were good... had everything we needed. It's a comfortable place to stay. One bed is firmer & the other is softer, so you have your pick:) it was a blessing for us since the location is so close to the med center. We like that it was gated & peaceful! Thank you!!
The location was perfect for our trip. The apartment was super clean and perfect size for what we needed. Everything was clean and organized. The host was able to let us check in esrly due to weather and that was very much appreciated.
Great first floor unit. Well maintained and clean. Easy parking and easy access to the apartment. Everything we needed for a weekend stay to visit a relative at MD Anderson.
I'm going to be a little more critical than usual because I dont appreciate being lied to. The lead in for the condo says "Brand New". The complex was built in 1998 and shows it. The front door was filthy and needed ti be painted. The walkway to the condo was a covered cement sidewalk. Although no fault of the hosts, it also was filthy. The policy of the association is to place your trash outside the condo door every day then it is picked up around 10 pm Monday through Friday. Trash bags have leaked over the years leaving pools of grease and guck. Not inviting at all. Inside the condo was relatively clean. No dust except on the walls and grates of the vents in the bathrooms. The floors in the kitchen and living area are scratched up to the point that there isnt much finish left. The canned lighting in the kitchen likes to go strobe light occasionally and we literally had to use a flashlight to see the control panel on the stove. There were so many coats of paint on the doorframes and moulding, not professionally applied, that flakes were sticking out and could easily be torn off. The patio and laundry area were as dirty as the entryway. The upside? The hosts communicated quickly, the AC worked very well, and the water pressure was wonderful.
It was a super easy check in. But once we walked in it had a very odd smell. An annoying smell we couldnât figure out the smell. We bought candles. We are a family of 3 and they only give you 4 towels for a week stay. I had to ask for more towels they dropped off 2 more while we were out. The air conditioner kept freezing and not running properly. We had it set at 70 degrees. The bed was super comfortable.
We were here to watch our grandson play baseball at Daikin Park. This location made it easy to get to the park. We enjoyed the ponds and the quietness. Very nice place.
Great location with access to Texas Medical Center
This 2 bedroom unit is quite nice for two couples as the bedrooms are on either side of the unit. We had some initial issues with the plumbing/hot water and lighting, but the property manager was very responsive and they were corrected promptly. Easy check-in and check-out. Parking can be a bit of an issue for two cars as most spaces are assigned. Overall, I good place to stay if needing something in proximity to Texas Medical Center and MDAnderson.
Beautiful! Very clean and spacious. The beds were so comfortable. My complaints are the parking. I had to park a ways from the door and had quite a few bags., parking lot was always full.also bedroom by the door, you can hear people in the breezeway conversations in the middle of the night but hey its an apartment. The owners communication was superb, she did not leave out one detail. Overall my stay was top tier and closeby to almost everything, Im satisfied noisy neighbors,
