To the host:
I’ve never left a review of a vacation rental less than the full five stars. I understand your rating dramatically affects your property’s profitability, but there were more than a few items that made our stay with you far less enjoyable than we were hoping. Hopefully this feedback will help you make changes for future guests.
- The hot tub’s water was disgusting. On the first night we attempted to enjoy the hot tub, but were met with a thick film of scum across the surface prior to us ever turning on the jets.
- The first level’s bedroom had stains all over the walls and cockroaches on the floor.
- The TV remote only worked if plugged into a USB-C charger. We had a USB-C charger so it wasn’t a big deal, but I’m assuming many guests would not.
- By far the biggest thing, and the reason I’m so frustrated, is the bed count in the property’s description is blatantly deceptive. The listing states there are five beds. One room has two queens, one room has one king, and one room has a king and a twin. We would have never booked your place knowing there were only four beds. Some of our guests slept on the floor!
Hopefully either you or VRBO will make this right. To future guests, this place is in a good location, has some nice finishes and a great view of downtown from the rooftop. If they correct the items I mentioned above, I would stay here.
