Plumbing problems, unresponsive host

Terrible experience. We discovered upon check in that there was no soap in the bathrooms and the kitchen faucet didn’t work. I immediately messaged the host to let them know, but they did not respond to any messages for the entire four night stay. The next morning we discovered that one of the showers did not drain and was therefore unusable—the water is still there three days later. I reached out to Vrbo customer service several times and was assured they had also contacted the host and asked them to address our concerns. Furniture was broken, towels were frayed, rugs were dirty and curled at the edges, and kitchen utensils were minimal. I can overlook a lot of shortcomings in a place if a host is working to resolve issues, but the complete lack of response is unacceptable. I would not book this property under any circumstances.

it was nice but..

it was nice but the sink in the kitchen didn’t work, the shower in the master bedroom never drained after the first night and the sink in the master bathroom was very slow to drain. Other than that, for the price it was a decent place!

The Place Was OK

The neighborhood was terrible, everything about the outside of the house was raggedy, the house, the driveway & the neighborhood. The inside of the house was ok but there were several chairs broken, as well as the kitchen faucet. The sink & shower in the master's bedroom were both stopped up. I messaged the host twice about different things & i never got a response about any of them i wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Upon arrival everything was great. Check in process was great. When we got inside the place seemed ok until we start unwinding. Kitchen faucet was broken. Walls were dirty. Bathroom drain was clogged. Water was cold. The chair was broken in the dining area—leg loose. I tried reaching out to owner got nothing back & this was all the same things in previous reviews he hasn’t serviced that unit at all.

Nice but needs some work

House was decent. Beds were very comfortable, and most areas were very clean as were provided linens. However there are some maintenance issues that need corrected. Loose faucets and doors that dont fit in frames.

Me and my family came in from Savannah Georgia to celebrate a 60th birthday party downtown Houston. Great location to get to downtown had a great stay and great amenities will definitely stay here again.

Not like the pictures

The property wasn't very clean. The walls in the home were dirty. The linen looked dirty. The towels and wash clothes also looked dirty. There was NO toilet paper in the home when we arrived. I contacted the property manager and they didn't respond until the next day. They bought toilet paper to the home the FOLLOWING EVENING. By that time I'd already bought my own. The kitchen sink didn't work properly. It only worked while I held the button down on the faucet. The showers in 2 of the bathrooms didn't drain properly. The bathroom sinks didn't drain properly either. I REPEATEDLY tried contacting the property manager. They didn't respond. The few times they did respond was to ask us were we enjoying our stay. They NEVER addressed the issues I stated we were having during our stay. The smoke detector needed batteries. It beeped the ENTIRE time we were there. VERY ANNOYING. I tried talking to someone from vrbo several times. I had no help there. I DO NOT.....I REPEAT, I DO NOT recommend you rent this house........Zero stars.......I also have pictures and videos to back up these claims.

I was catfished

The property was not up to par I was killing bugs my whole stay, pulling into the driveway there a dip but the concrete slab was missing so I scrapped the bottom of the rental car , I had to park on the street. The front door was filthy, the floor from the front door to the kitchen was damaged. I tripped over the floor near the dinning room table because the vinyl on the floor was lifting. All the walls in the house where dirty and it was stains everywhere like they never where wiped off or cleaned. All the showers were clogged especially the master bathroom. The backyard and front grass was not cut so we could sit in the back yard or use the fire pit. The living couch pillow was ripped and the yellow chair was broke as well as the dinning room chair I told them was loose but they ignored my message and sent me a message about the thermostat instead.I was upset that they threw a white sheets over the dark gray fitted sheet with all these yellow stains in the master bedroom, some of the beds did not have proper pillow they sub them for decorative pillows we had to goto target and grab pillows and wash rags. I will never book with this host I try to make the best of my birthday weekend but I’m definitely disappointed how lazy they were with the up keep of this property.

Clean

House was clean but several things were broken (towel bar, curtain rods, paint scratches). Also, the kitchen was poorly stocked—no cutlery. Driveway is treacherous with drop off on the sides. The wi-fi and TVs worked well. The location was convenient to our activities and the neighborhood going through regentrification.

Overall it was a great stay. Our only issue was the picture did not really match what we was shown on the site. There has clearly been a significant amount of time since those pictures were taking. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Disappointed!

Walls were very dirty in master bedroom.. comforter had white crusty stuff on majority of it and smelled awful. Literally had to go buy sheets and blankets. No extra trash bags, linens, or tissue. No forks and 1 spoon! Other than that, the house is cute.

Big, nice and clean.

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this house. It was big, looked really nice in the inside and was clean. Would definitely consider to stay here for our next family reunion in Houston. The management answered all questions almost immediately. Very pleased.
