Checkin was delayed by 2 hours. During my stay, a smoke detector went off at inopportune times. I reported it the first day it went off. The property management responded the same day, but it wasn’t resolved until 5 days later. Yes 5 more days of beeping. I contacted property management every time. If there had been a sturdy chair or step stool, I would have bought the batteries to replace and do it myself. When it was addressed by building management, I had the guy check all batteries and reinstall the missing one from the kitchen ceiling. Someone had removed it prior to my stay. The door handle exiting and entering the apartment was troublesome to open from both out and in the apartment that was fixed by the guy who fixed the smoke detector issue. He had difficulty getting in and out of the apartment. The place was what I would call superficial clean. I took pictures of the vents caked with dirt and debris and who knows when the air filter was last replaced. A huge later of dust above the door jams. Lavish and executive are a misrepresentation of this property. This was supposed to be a relaxing time between selling my home and moving into my new home. And was everything but. No oven mitts for the oven. Only the left two burners on the cooktop worked. Both showers continued to drip unless you turned the dial until your hand hurt. And then the same issue to turn them on. Beds were not very comfortable and bed linens may have been cleaned but sure did not look it. I had a few meals there. I tried to make chili and couldn’t get the can opener furnished to work. I bought a new one at a nearby grocery store. And yes there were pots and pans, but not one mixing bowl.
