It was horrible. To start, you just let yourself into the unit. There is no keypad, smart lock, or anything. The door is just unlocked, and you let yourself in. So a huge safety concern for any guest. From there, it got worse. The moment you walk in, you are hit with the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke. It was so bad that the bedroom windows were open before we arrived. My wife and I ended up leaving within an hour, and the refund process was a nightmare.

Place was clean, easy to get into, and was a place to sleep. The Building smelled like smoke and made your clothes smell like smoke too. If it wasn’t for the location it would be better. Midtown is not the place to stay unless you don’t care to walk around and plan on ubering everywhere you want to go. Sketchy people were the only people walking around, would recommend you pick a better part of town. Hope this helps!

I felt mixed about this place. The proximity to the light rail was nice, but there was a naked man wandering around the neighborhood when I arrived, and I felt a bit unsafe. The bedroom and bathroom were very nice. The bed was huge and comfortable. The modern appliances were nice and clean.The living room was very shabby. The couch was stained and literally falling apart, the patio screen door was off its hinges, and the chairs at the kitchen counter looked like they were picked up off the street. This place really needs some new living room furniture!I also REALLY didn't like that the entire place smelled like cigarette smoke. I had to wash all of my clothes, even the ones I didn't wear because they picked up the smell.I'm not sure why there are questions in this survey about a vineyard. There was no vineyard as far as I could tell.

Hopefully the owner takes my many suggestions. This is in a great location but the apartment needs a lot of TLC. The apartment needs a deep cleaning. Couch was broken, balcony door doesn’t lock and screen completely off the track. Balcony had a broken chair and a lot of debris and cigarettes, dishes in cabinet were dirty and no hair dryer even though it was listed.

We were from out of state attending a friends wedding. The location was great. The apartment was clean and the amenities were as listed. Any questions or assistance needed was handled right away. Would stay again if we are ever back in Houston!

Very nice and clean

Extremely easy to communicate with the owner. Answered my call immediately! Needs a few things in the kitchen and a little sketchy around the complex but that being did the security was extremely sufficient. Best most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in in a rental!!! Place was very clean

Disappointed

First of all, we were not given information to get in the garage and apartment before arriving. It took the owner 20 minutes or so to respond when we asked for information which caused us to wait in the car on the side of the street! Elevators in the building worked on and off throughout our 4 night stay. We didn’t have enough dish towels, or bathroom linens and had to contact owner again for information on how to get more! Counters were not clean and floors didn’t look swept before we arrived. Some dishes had dried food on them that I had to wash before using. Some extra sheets and towels were left in the dryer. Had to use a knife to pry the door opened to get towels out. The garage and hall ways were dirty and stunk! A VERY strong marijuana spell lingered in the building hallways and garage! We do not recommend this property!

Needs some improvement on cleanliness

This was a very nice condo. Looks exactly it does in the pictures. It definitely could live up to 5 stars across the board with a huge exception. There is a 80.00 cleaning fee included in the price so you would expect a professional cleaning between each stay. The refrigerator door was dirty, there were dirty towels left on balcony furniture, the sliding glass door and windows couldn’t have been cleaned in 2024. There were sheets left in the dryer and the pull on dryer door was detached. Had to pry dryer door open with a knife and a completely empty detergent bag was left on the shelf. As a matter of fact l left my laundry pods for next guest. If the only thing was no toilet paper I would have overlooked that as a simple error. Now I must say when we got there driving the parking garage is somewhat difficult to find but the host George answered the phone was very nice and gave us precise instructions on how to get in the garage. To put things in perspective if you were visiting a friend are family member the above things would be tolerated or acceptable but all rentals should be professionally cleaned and disinfected light switches, remote controls, refrigerator doors and handles, door knobs and handles, if these things had been done the place would receive 5 stars across the board. Would like to stay there again if the property was professionally cleaned.

Clean, comfortable and quiet

Stayed 4 days for our son’s Robotics competition at the George R. Brown Convention Center. George, the host, was very easy to communicate with and responded extremely quickly to any request. The apartment is really quiet and comfortable. Nice amount of space for a 1 bedroom apartment. It has secure parking, some great restaurants within very close walking distance, and was only a 7 minute drive to the GRB Convention Center. If we are back there next year for the World Championship, I will definitely be looking to stay here again!

Sparse, uncomfortable and not secure

4 out of 10. First thing we saw pulling into the parking garage was a homeless encampment within a stones throw. The property was sparse… No paper towels; no shower soap; no kitchen table; just not comfortable. The property was not secure, anyone could access the property because the exterior doors did not lock. The full time occupants we met were very nice which helped and the host was easily available via text which also helped when we were having trouble accessing the elevator from the parking garage. We probably could have overcome the negative experience of entering the property if the interior was more comfortable but that was not the case. Hate to provide a negative review but keeping it real. Once again, the host was great but that could not overcome the uncomfortableness of the property.

Quite, Peaceful & Comfortable

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Midtown apartment. The check in/checkout process was easy and convenient. George was an amazing host and was one phone call/text away for any questions. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay; it is conveniently located with covered garage parking, a rooftop courtyard with grill and seating. The bed was comfortable; the apartment was cool; the entire 5 day stay, we could hear people coming and going quietly, but never saw any neighbors. There is a swimming pool but it's in the building across the street so we didn't get an opportunity to take a dip this go around but definitely next time. We would definitely return to this location in the future.
