Basic pub with rooms with very friendly staff. Guests get 10% off of bar food menu. No breakfast but good cafes near by. Other guests felt it was a good idea to be really loud at 4am.
Nice friendly staff. Hotel decor dated in places but they are investing in renovation and I had one such room on the top floor. Walls a bit thin as could clearly hear a rather amorous couple next door - but that didnât last too long!
I was prepared to be underwhelmed as the price was modest for Brighton. However it was a nice room , staff interaction was good and the location all be it a couple of miles out of town led to a nice 50 minute walk in along the prom and the beach huts. All in all a happy stay and the street parking situation was far better than the town centre.
Friendly staff but disappointed overall. There was a large window with new curtains and carpet. There was a new toilet, sink and radiator in the bathroom. But it was small and the shower itself let the place down. They have overlooked some of the basics including decent beds without headboard and gap at the end to lose your pillows.Filling the kettle at the sink was near impossible as it didnât fit under the tap.
