Staff was great -all in working order and they had toilet paper in the room-comfy and good kitchenette. Pool and hot tub worked tho the hot tub did not really have good aeration, it was warm-so I was glad of that. Great breakfasts!!

The pool was gross. It was foggy and overchlorinated. All my kids ended up getting sick. The room wasn’t stocked with coffee needs and tray that held the packages in was filthy (I had a suite with a coffee pot). Trim was falling off the wall with nail exposure. Window had a thick layer of frost where it was leaking. I stay here every year and you can tell it has gone downhill every year.

Absolutely great stay!! Staff was super friendly. Hotel was clean and very well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious and the gentleman doing breakfast was very attentive and made sure everything stayed available. We will definitely stay again when we are back in that area.

Great hotel just off I96. Perfect location near many stores and restaurants, plus downtown Brighton is nearby. Hotel was so clean and festive looking. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice breakfast too.

I booked this hotel mainly to use the hot tub and relax. We arrived on Friday and the hot tub was broken. We asked several times and there was a different excuse everytime. Never got to use it. As for the room-if you changed the sheets you would have seen the dog ball wedged along the dresser and bed. Ton of kids running aroung jumping in and out of pool. Horrible experience-Will not stay here again

Bathroom counter top broken and glued back together with glue on the counter. You don’t know if the glue could affect your skin or not. Sink was leaking on the floor and looks like it had been that way for a while.

Pool Out of Order

I got an email to check in online. I did so and it told me to go to the front desk when we arrived to get our room keys. It was my son’s birthday and he wanted to go swimming so we booked this room for the weekend. When we arrived with our life jackets in tow, we were informed the pool was closed due to needing repair. They did offer for us to walk across the parking lot and use the sister hotel’s pool though. With my 3 kids being young and October in Michigan, it really wasn’t feasible to do so. I requested a refund so I could book at the hotel across the parking lot with the working pool (Hampton by Hilton). I was told the manager would be in on Monday and they would put a note with what happened. When I called back I was told to call Hotels.com. Totally fine, they reached out to the hotel multiple times and got no response so they were unable to refund the room and offered a small credit. I filed a dispute with my bank and was only able to get 1 of 2 nights back. It absolutely sucks that I’m the one penalized when we were not notified that the full facility would not be available until arrival and now I’m stuck paying for two hotels.

Room Noise

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean. The issue is with room above 208. The floor creaks terribly like an old house when they walk or move. Sounds nuts but it's bad. Noise from children running would have been more tolerable. We arrived at our room late and went to bed. Then realized that the creaking from movement didn't quit. Glad we had ear plugs...lol
